Daily Life of a Villain’s Mother - Chapter 294
Ch.294 He Han’s Past (1)
Old Mrs. He walked over to the sofa and sat across from Dudu, asking, “Hey little buddy, what’s your name?”
Dudu shook his head seriously. “Mama says you can’t tell strangers your name.” While shaking his head, his chubby little cheeks would jiggle along with his movements, and there was no need to mention how cute it was.
The more Old Mrs. He looked at him, the more she liked him. She was just about to keep asking when He Han walked out from the kitchen, looking a little helpless.
Turns out that He Han wanted to inform his grandmother after telling Ye Fan the truth, but he didn’t expect things to turn out this way.
“Grandma.” He Han called out, interrupted Old Mrs. He who was getting excited.
He Han was holding Dudu’s bottle in his hands. He filled the inside of it with warm water and walked towards Dudu, passing him the bottle.
Dudu popped open the lid and lowered his head, quietly drinking his water.
When has Old Mrs. He ever seen her grandson be so caring towards another person? Even towards his family, He Han’s concern would always be hidden. He never showed it so clearly.
He Han had always been a very introverted person that never showed his emotions outwardly. However, he was completely different in front of this boy.
“is this your…” Old Mrs. He looked at He Han and eagerly wanted to confirm her guesses.
He Han did not deny it. He nodded. “I’ll explain it to you in the future.” He had his own plans, and he didn’t want Dudu to know right now.
Holding his bottle, Dudu opened his round eyes. Despite what a bright kid he was, he had no idea what sort of riddles these adults were playing at.
“Uncle,” Dudu tilted his head and looked at him with suspicious eyes.
He Han stroked the top of his head. “Dudu, this is Uncle’s Granny.”
Dudu nodded, well-behaved. He put the water bottle by the sofa before putting his chubby hands on his belly and giving Old Mrs. He a nice bow.
“Nice to meet you, Granny.”
Old Mrs. He tried her best to suppress her excitement and she revealed a kindly smile towards Dudu. “Dudu, you can call me Great-Granny.”
He Han faintly glanced at Old Mrs. He who turned down the smile at her lips slightly, and she said a little meaningfully.
“If I had a great-grandson, he would probably look just like Dudu.”
Old Mrs. He rustled around her bag and took a piece of chocolate out from it, handing it to Dudu. “Great-Granny will give you chocolate. Do you want it, Dudu?”
Old Mrs. He had a sweet tooth and would always bring sweets with her. Now that she met her own great-grandson by chance, it finally came to some use.
Dudu looked at He Han and only accepted the candy when he saw him nod. In a sweet childish voice, he thanked her. “Thank you Great-Granny.”
Old Mrs. He was cheerful. “Dudu is such a good boy.”
Then, she suddenly thought of something and looked towards He Han again. “Remember not to give him too many sweets, it’ll spoil his teeth.” Old Mrs. He had just become a qualified great-grandmother and quickly got into her role.
He Han answered. “Dudu’s mother is very strict. she wouldn’t give him too much.”
Old Mrs. He’s eyes lit up. She wanted to know who Dudu’s mother really was, and what the relationship between the three of them was right now. These questions were simply tugging at her chest.
He Han massaged his temples helplessly. He knew Old Mrs. He’s character, she never takes no for an answer.
He Han took out the toys from the drawer and put them on the table. “Dudu, play for a while first.” Dudu quickly answered him and sat obediently in front of the table and began playing with the blocks.
He Han went over to the window, and Old Mrs. He followed.
THey were standing in a position where they were just able to see Dudu.
Old Mrs. He immediately opened her mouth to ask. “Did you do something wrong? Are you not taking responsibility for the girl?” From what she heard earlier, Dudu was calling him Uncle.
If He Han wasn’t taking responsibility, then why would a girl end up raising a child alone?
He Han knew that Old Mrs. He would misunderstand, but there was no way he could explain the matter. Even though he didn’t know about the matter, things already became like this in the end.
“It is in fact related to me.”
