Daily Life of a Villain’s Mother - Chapter 310
Ch.310 Dudu is My Son Too (6)
She gradually began to panic, but very soon, she forced herself to calm down. After thinking about it, she thought of a way to test him and see whether he knew.
Ye Fan adjusted her mood and said, “He Han, I know you treat both Dudu and me well.”
“You spend a lot of time with Dudu, bringing him to many places, and made him feel less lonely.”
“I’m very grateful for all that.” Ye Fan knew very well the good that He Han did for them. Unconsciously, she had already listed out many things he had done for them.
He Han did not speak, but an undetectable look of joy arose deep inside his eyes.
He could see Ye Fan’s calm face from the corner of his eyes.
However, he was also able to judge how panicked she truly was inside of her.
He had already figured out that Ye Fan was testing her. So, if he continued to observe her quietly, what else would she say?
Ye Fan turned the topic around. “However, you’re also stepping in too deep into our matters.”
He Han revealed a meaningful smile. “Really?”
Ye Fan enunciated her position. “Dudu is my son.”
He Han did not say anything. he smiled, and a chuckle broke out in the car.
In the next second, he stepped on the gas pedal. The car accelerated. After getting off the highway, he made a few more turns.
Once they arrived at a secluded road, the car slowly came to a stop.
Before He Han could say anything, Ye Fan looked down and unbuckled her seatbelt, taking this opportunity to leave.
But then her movements paused. She could feel someone hold her back.
By the time she registered that her actions were being restricted, He Han had already turned over her and was looking at her.
The man’s cold breath wafted to her face.
“He Han.” Ye Fan’s eyes dimmed as she read out his name.
She looked down to see He Han gripping her arm with his well-defined hands. His intention was clear. He wasn’t going to let her leave.
It was already deep in the night. Cool light shone in from the streetlights, illuminating their faces. They could see each other’s features clearly.
Ye Fan looked up and met He Han’s gaze.
He Han was looking at her, eyes both serious and focused as if they were clutching down on her.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Ye Fan’s voice was cold. “I’m getting off.”
He Han put away the smile on his lips and went silent. He did not let go of her and didn’t loosen up either. He just watched her silently.
He Han had just found out about the truth behind Dudu not long ago, but he hadn’t found the opportunity to tell Ye Fan yet. However, after seeing Dudu again, he made up his mind.
On this night, he was going to lay out the truth before her eyes.
Ye Fan stressed the matter, “Dudu is waiting for me at home. I need to go back.”
Her intuition told her that He Han may have something to tell her, but she didn’t want to hear it. She was afraid to hear it.
Because it was likely related to something she had been hiding this whole time.
He Han’s eyes slowly traced over Ye Fan’s face from top to bottom.
She had no idea why, but Ye Fan’s heart was panicking.
He Han’s slightly cool hand was clasping her wrist firmly, but giving her the slightest chance to break free.
Whenever Ye Fan backed up a little, He Han would move forward. Her skin felt extremely soft under his rough and calloused fingers.
He Han lowered his head slightly, bringing the two of them closer.
There seemed to be a flash of light in his dark eyes as he looked deeply into hers.
He Han stared at her for a while before his thin lips moved slightly. “Ye Fan, have you forgotten?”
Ye Fan froze for a while. There was a flicker in her eyes and her lips were pressed taut. She didn’t say anything. The car suddenly became quiet, and the air felt so heavy inside the car that it almost felt material.
He Han’s body moved. He moved closer and looked straight into her eyes.
He opened his mouth again, a cold voice emerging along with his hot breath.
Word by word, he reminded her of the undeniable truth.
“Dudu is my son, too.”
