Hi, everybody. Sorry for no updates last week.

There was a noticable drop in translation quality of last 4 chapters because of chapters being unedited. Editor of this novel was very busy in real life and could not make time for editing.

At first, we thought that we should continue posting unedited chapters and once editor comes back, we will have all chapters edited.

However, a reader left comment that we should not post unedited chapters and showed his willingness to wait for edited chapters.

After giving it some thought, we decided to wait for editor to return. Fortunately, editor is back 2 days and have edited all old chapters and stocked chapters. We have also re-uploaded edited versions of old chapters. Cheers~

[Edited]

The other sisters seemed to be scattered all over the place, preparing for the evening service. I could hear the children playing in the snow in the yard, and Rozetta smiled happily as she made a cup of flower tea.

“My goodness, thank you so much, Belgrief-san, you’ve saved me a lot of trouble!”

“No, no, this is nothing, it was all Charl’s idea, you know.”

Taking off her hat and untangling her hair, Charlotte fidgeted and rubbed her hands together.

“I, um… I hope that helped atone for my sins a little?”

“Of course, Charl, I’m sure God will appreciate that.”

“Yeah… Thank you, Rozetta, for helping me. Father and Byaku too.”

Belgrief smiled and patted Charlotte, while Byaku remained silent and kept his eyes downcast.

He drank a cup of herbal tea and took a sigh of relief.

Angeline and the others were out on a mission. As high-ranking adventurers, we can’t spend all our time playing. In return, the rewards are far greater than those of lower-ranked adventurers.

Charlotte muttered to herself as she let her herbal tea cool in the air.

“I wonder how big sister’s party is doing.”

“It’s not a long trip…Qasim is tagging along with them as well, so they could be back soon, depending on how smooth  things go.”

They left yesterday and have been diving in a nearby Dungeon. Qasim, who had returned to adventuring to earn his own keep, joined them as well. Leonel was pleased with the unexpected overall increase in party strength.

As he poured himself a refill of herbal tea, Rozetta asked.

“By the way, Belgrief-san, are you going to return to adventuring?”

Belgrief thought for a moment and opened his mouth.

“I don’t have any plans yet. In any case, I will be returning to Tornella in the spring, and I don’t see any reason to return to adventuring at this time.”

Since Qasim’s arrival in Orphen, he has of course continued to check on the whereabouts of Percival and Sati. So far, however, he hasn’t been able to get any promising information.

He feels like he’s being held back, but Tornera is an important place for Belgrief. He can’t leave Graham and Mito behind for any length of time just because of his own reasons.

Belgrief smiled, thinking that they had gotten old enough to think that way.

“I see, so you’re leaving… I’m going to miss them.”

Rozetta said and sipped her flower tea, while Charlotte watched her gloomily.

“Do you like father, Rozetta? Do you want to marry him?”

“Nyuf! Gee! What are you talking about?”

Rozetta blushed and pouted, and Belgrief put his hand to his forehead in exasperation.

“…Charl, even you are talking about that?”

“Because you know that big sister… Doesn’t Father like Rozetta?”

“Yes, of course I like her. But Rozetta is young. She’s way too young to be with an old elderly uncle like me.”

Belgrief was composed. He was not upset at all.

Charlotte puffed out her cheeks in frustration, while Rozetta laughed in relief, “That’s not what I meant by liking you.”

In fact, Belgrief’s reputation was good among the sisters of the orphanage.

However, it was not the kind of thing where they wanted to get to know each other better or learn more about each other’s personalities.

Rozetta was somewhat conscious of Belgrief at first due to Angeline’s scheming, but now she doesn’t seem to be so conscious, probably because she knows Belgrief has harboured no such intentions.

Of course, she adores him, but even so, her feelings towards Belgrief are similar to those towards a brother or a father, and seem to be entirely separated from infatuation.

Charlotte let out a small sigh, wondering if Belgrief’s fatherly nature had gotten the better of her.

Byaku chuckled.

“No reaction. Confirmed fail, I suppose.”

” Umm… I guess it’s related to Sati-san…”

Charlotte mused, and Belgrief laughed in embarrassment.

“I told you it’s not like that…”
