Judging that her opponent was good at range attacks, Hilda threw the knife back at the boy as she picked it up from the ground, and then pulled out her dagger and launched herself into a close combat.

The knife she threw back was repelled by the boy’s bare hand. A kick from the boy was unleashed, grazing Hilda’s mask, as she stopped her legs immediately after noticing the kick.

Hilda was about to fall back from the sharp kick, when the boy’s back fist roared as he dived into her, sending her spinning by the hit. Hilda tried to move, but the impact was worse than she had expected.

“If you further resist, I’ll hurt you, okay?”

The Cruz boy butler – Theo – raised himself to a fighting stance, rotating his legs and hopping.

Theo, once too young to train seriously because of his talent, fell in love with a girl one year older than him and wanted to become strong in order to “take responsibility” for her.

He dreamed of meeting the girl again and trained hard, surpassing his peers and reaching Rank 3 at the age of 11, barely.

He could beat any normal adults around him. If he had the right circumstances, he could even fight a Royal Guard on equal footing.

Then, when Theo heard that his missing first love had been found, he was finally able to meet her and realized that he was conceited only because of his talent.

A girl in her early teens had reached Rank 4, the realm of the “talented,” a realm that cannot be reached by talent alone.

She even defeated a Rank 5 monster single-handedly, and although her fame on the outside was still small, she had grown into such a big presence in the underworld that there was no one who did not know about her.

Realizing this, Theo realized that he could never catch up with her by doing the same thing, so he switched to tactics that took advantage of his own strengths.

Theo clapped the magic steel iron armor fitted in both fists.

Theo’s new tactic was a fighting technique using concealed weapons that took advantage of her own eccentric taijutsu. He hid his concealed weapons in his sleeves, shoes, and other parts of his body that could not be seen from the outside, and his main weapon, the magic steel armor, became a combined offensive and defensive weapon that not only attacked but also blocked the enemy’s attacks.

Theo lets out a sigh in his heart at the spies who have crept into this place.

Alicia, who had been tormented by the same gender in the past, would not have a maid by her side unless she needed one. She only invited male servants into her room who would do what she asked, and the servants, who were of the opposite sex, could not stop her.

Swallowing the emotion that made him want to lash out his tongue, and yet, in the brief moment when Theo’s attention was distracted by Alicia, the spy woman made her move.

Theo shot the woman in the shoulder as she rushed forward. But still the female spy did not stop and threw the vial in her hand towards the window.

Hilda was doing this to save her master, Theo was doing it for his family, who were positioned as an escort. With that slight difference in enthusiasm, Hilda prevailed and she got her result.

The sound of something breaking. Theo’s attempt to pursue the spy as she tried to escape was stopped by a scream coming from the mansion.

“Damn!”

After a moment of hesitation, Theo ran towards the mansion where he heard the scream.
