Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 160.1
Stampede
The dragon was one of the most powerful creatures in the world of Ciel.
Unlike demons, which were mutated from plants and animals by magical elements, dragons, which are fantastic beasts, have become objects of belief in some areas for their mighty power and high intelligence, and even children know of their existence.
However, unlike other phantom beast species, only dragons were known for their strength, but the main reason may be the large number of “varieties” of dragons.
The subspecies of flying dragons and sea dragons, followed by subordinate dragons, attribute dragons, and ancient dragons, all became stronger in that order.
Therefore, people feared and longed for the power of dragons, and their beauty was told in various stories.
The “Earth Dragon”, a type of dragon, started to move from the depths of the ancient ruins of Reiz Veil to the outer periphery of the ruins.
(This story was too good to be true; what did it have to do with the fact that the Rizan group had broken the agreement and attacked the Munza Group?)
Jesha Hogloss, head of the Adventurers’ Guild of the Hogloss Trading Company, collects her thoughts in the conference room where staff members are hurriedly moving about.
The first report came early last night from several adventurers who had returned from an expedition.
There were many causes for the outbreak of monsters and demon stampede, including a lack of food due to the hot weather, but the most likely cause, if it came from Reiz Veil, was a “mass panic” caused by the movement of powerful monsters from deep within the region.
One of the possibilities was the existence of the “Earth Dragon,” which had been known for about a hundred years. The adventurers’ reported roars of terror heard from afar led to the near-confirmation of the existence of the Earth Dragon, which had been set in motion by Zilgan, an old Dwarf who had confronted it once before.
The dragon’s roar had the effect of bringing [panic] to the weak. A lesser dragon’s roar would have no such effect, but a true dragon would be able to use the primordial dragon magic [roar], regardless of whether it was a minor dragon or a great dragon.
Earth dragons were named “earth” dragons, but they are not “earth” elemental dragons. The earth dragons were gem dragons, and there were only four true dragons in the Sarth Continent: fire dragons, water dragons, ice dragons, and wind dragons.
Earth dragons were inferior dragons, without wings to soar in the sky, and took hundreds to thousands of years to become dragons by feeding on Magic Stone with an attribute similar to their own.
It was fortunate that the dragons in Reiz Veil were not a Rank 7 dragon, but the lower ranking earth dragon, which was less of a threat in some cases.
The threat level of the dragons was Rank 6, and although it varied depending on the years of their existence, their Total Combat Power was at least 3,000 or more. However, unlike other Rank 6 monsters, the earth dragon, which lacked intelligence, could be moved by the machinations of others.
(Is it the Evil Race that is causing it to move…?)
Dark Elf and the others who disappeared. Behind them, the shadow of Evil Race flickers. Were their movements with those of Rizan’s group? However, if it was determined that they were working together, there would have to be some other plan, which would lead to the latter events.
If so, should the dwarves of the Hogloss Trading Company stay in town to deal with the situation and leave it to the humans and beastmen to deal with the rampaging monsters and the earth dragon?
(No!).
The Hogloss Trading Company was an organization of dwarves. Jesha, one of the children of the chairman of the Hogloss Trading Company, did not trust anyone but her own people, and she believed that only Dwarven warriors, including herself and Zilgan, could slay the Earth Dragon.
The party of a dozen or so dwarves, including Jesha herself, was confirmed to be the party that would go to slay the Earth Dragon. The rest of the demons could be dealt with by Dwarves of Rank 3 or lower and the rest of the race.
