Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 161.1
Harbinger of Turmoil
A man in a hood who appeared to be Dark Elf. As soon as I detected his true identity, a gush of murderous intent came from the Dark Elf, and at the same time, the surrounding Crucians drew their weapons and attacked.
A single-edged long sword and a long, thin spear. The weapons they were carrying could not be called self-defense weapons, but were clearly designed to kill people.
“Uruaaaah!”
The stern-looking Crucian who first called out to me slashed at me with his cutlass. I fend off the blade by wrapping it with my cloak, and the man who had gotten so close to me shouted as if surprised.
“Woman… who are you?”
“Who am I? That’s not the point, why are you attacking me just because I mentioned a Dark Elf?”
“Shut up and get the heck out of here!”
As I kicked him away while releasing the tangled blade that the man was trying to pull out with all his might, Dark Elf, who was watching from behind me, let out an exasperated shout.
“Don’t make a fuss. Kill her quickly.”
Even though it was a place that was hard to be seen, making a fuss would draw attention.
After all, these guys were here for a purpose. If this hooded man was one of the Dark Elf who had disappeared from the town, there was a possibility that he was involved with the Evil Race.
But before there was time to consider this, the four remaining Crucians attacked at the instructions of the Dark Elf.
“Daaaa!”
One man thrust out a thin, frequently. Like the other weapons, this kind of weapon was most effective not against monsters or soldiers in armor, but against civilians…
As soon as the tip of the spear pierced the empty space under my cloak, I stepped forward and thrust my hand with a “shadow” in my palm, sending the tip of the spear piercing through the Spearman’s brain.
If I was fighting against a large number of people, I could only wound them and deprive them of their fighting ability, thus slowing them down. But with this small number of people, it was faster to kill them.
Assuming that the first Crucian was Rank 3, the remaining Crucians would have a fighting strength of around 200…the upper end of Rank 2. I have no interest in these small fry. Now that they have pulled out their weapons, there was no reason to show them any mercy. It would take two of their higher-ranking members to hold me back.
*Gosha…!
Using my Heavy Pendulum, which I released from the shadow of the fallen Spearman, shattered the skull of the man with a two-handed cutlass who was watching the scene.
“You bastard!”
The man who had first been kicked away and fallen screamed at me at the sight of his fallen comrades in succession, and with his dark skin turning reddish-black, he held up his cutlass.
“Wait, that guy is weird!”
“Shut up, you long-eared bastard! Don’t tell me what to do!”
The man attacked again, defying Dark Elf’s attempts to stop him.
It seemed that Crucian and Dark Elf were allies, but not friends.
I kept the two remaining Crucians in check with my gaze, and while deflecting the blade of the first guy. I decided to use him as a source of information, so, with my black knife, I slipped in after giving him an elbow to the face.
“Gugah!?”
The man, blood spraying from his nose and mouth, fell to his knees, after receiving the blow.
“…Kuh, you bastard!”
