Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 175.2
The princess’s sword. A beautiful deadly blade.
Protected by the Princess’s authority, she could not be eliminated by other authority, and yet she was the Grim Reaper of Roses, who would bring death to anyone who laid a hand on her.
Baroness Aria Layton. If she was by the princess’s side, the malicious rumors would lose their meaning.
The King, convinced by the Princess that the first priority was to find Aria Layton, would spend a month in search of her. It would take her a month to return by ship. After informing his daughter that the her limit would be until the Magic Academy reopened four months after the incident, he approved the search for Aria.
“…I understand.”
Two months from now, Magic Academy would reopen. While the students of the nobles who had returned to their own lands were preparing to return to the school, Clara, who had also received the announcement, had almost arrived at the truth through her [Gift], [Foresight], in her room at the mansion in the Magic Academy.
Her fiancé, Crown Prince Ervan, was not on her side. With a small pang of pain at this, Clara further analyzes the situation with [Foresight] as she cuts down on her life.
She still doubts if the princess’s escort would return because of the lack of information, but Elena would certainly return. And even if her close associate, Baroness Aria, did not return, she would have taken steps to dispel the rumors on her own.
One possible way would be to get engaged to a member of the Khalfaan Empire Royal Family. It would not be a bad move. This would further solidify Elena’s position. She could even surpass Ervan, the Crown Prince.
The current Ervan’s reputation had fallen to such an extent that I thought so. Objectively speaking, Elena was superior, and while she was performing her official duties in between her studies, the current Ervan was not involved in official duties and was devoted to a single viscountess.
His Majesty the King’s decision to make a baroness who had not received a Queen’s education a regular queen had caused discord in aristocratic society, and the royalist aristocrats looked coldly at Ervan’s attempt to repeat the situation.
Ervan was heading for a dungeon with the Viscountess Alicia and his royal brother Amol, not the dungeon on the remote island where Clara and her friends obtained the Gift, but a dungeon close to the school controlled by the Countess Lester family.
Their purpose was probably to get a [Gift]. In Otome games, the heroine had the opportunity to obtain the Gift, and in the Demon event, she obtained the a [Gift] in a dungeon in Demon country, but otherwise, she remembers obtaining the Gift in a dungeon managed by Count Lester’s family.
It was not a dungeon that the royal family would dive. Although spirits existed there, the gifts obtained there were very weak.
However, even a weak Gift can be a “foil”. The difficulty level of the dungeon was not so high, and Ervan, who was currently receiving full support from the aristocrats as their new puppet, should be able to conquer the dungeon by brute force.
The aristocrats’ goal is to get Alicia to take the gift and push her into becoming one of the Queens; Clara or Carla, or even Patricia, would not be a puppet, but they would think they could manipulate any number of girls like that one in the flower garden.
Clara sighs and thought that the current Queen, who was blindly following the King’s policy, was far better in that respect alone.
