However, only the first Demon Lord was able to retrieve the dungeon’s proof in the previous selection ceremonies, and after that, everything else was settled by [killing each other].

This dungeon under the Demon Fortress must have a long history, but there were only ten floors.

When a dungeon had its entrance blocked by something, a new entrance appeared as if it were trying to breathe. In order to manage that part of the dungeon, the fortress was expanded, and the dungeon also expanded horizontally to create new entrances.
