“Are there any monsters in this hierarchy that breathe fire?”
“Around here, it’s likely a hellhound or something like that. But this is not the work of a mere Hellhound…”
When the man looked up, the members of the ambush team looked at the passageway and frowned.
The walls and ceiling of this passageway, were all scorched to the visible depths. The number of corpses was less than ten, but because they were all burnt to a crisp, it was hard to tell if the number was even correct.
The severity of the damage was the reason why they could not determine the existence of a hostile entity.
A high-ranked Master of Sorcery might have been able to do the same thing, but would they have the magical power to burn such a large area?
Supposing that it was the work of a dozen or so Magicians, they could do the same thing, but there was no point in doing so, and if there was any single person who could do it alone, it would be the current Demon Lord alone on this continent.
