Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 191.3
I was about to be pushed to the brink of defeat. I sank my wavering spirit deep into my heart, removed useless attribute magic elements from my entire body, and increased the purity of my magic power.
“–[Illusion]–“
I created illusions as if I exhaled the magic elements I had omitted. However, there was no time to project a figure, and a mere black shadow would not even dazzle me, but I dared not manipulate the [Illusion] and let it follow my movements only.
“Nuuooo!!!”
The illusion following me blurred my appearance, and Aishe’s broken sword cut through the air misjudging the distance.
My Master had an original magic that clad herself in pre-existing magic as a disguise, a magic that originally used offensive magic to raise the level of defense and attack power in proximity, but I could not use it because I had no attack magic buff.
The tactic I have just used was one I had devised so that I could use that magic in my own way, but its advantage was that the more expert the opponent was in searching for signs, the less effective it would be.
The increased purity of the magical element enhances my physical abilities. I use my legs as well as my arms to manipulate the four pendulums and counterattack while avoiding attacks.
With such a difference in combat power, had Aishe been sane, I would not have been able to deal with her attacks. Finally, a circling Slash Type Pendulum and a Heavy Type Pendulum grazed Aishe, who was momentarily distracted, and a circling Sickle Type Pendulum swept from behind her.
*Gakkin!!!
“!?”
The swinging blade was stopped by Elgrim’s head in midair.
Why was it moving? As I jump back in alarm, Elgrim’s head, floating in midair, lets out a voice as if it were gnashing its teeth.
Kill–kill–kill–kill!
With that voice as the trigger word, a [Fire Ball] was released from Elgrim’s head.
“–[Magic Shield]–!”
Can that thing do magic by itself! I deployed [Magic Shield] to block its force as I jumped to the side to avoid it.
[Aria!]
Master’s and Jesha’s voices echoed, and I braced myself at a distance, extinguishing the residue of the flames by rolling away. But there was no follow-up attack, which I thought there would be, and if I looked closely, Elgrim’s head was still saying something.
Kill–kill–kill–for the sake of the demon tribe–Aishe. –Celeshura–forgive–…
“…”
“Elgrim…”
Master’s muffled voice reached me. I had thought that Aishe killed Elgrim because of his grudge against me. But…probably not.
Perhaps Elgrim, who was on the verge of death, used his own life to put a curse on Aishe. It was a terrible obsession, but I could hear more sadness than hatred in that voice.
The “Master” that my master spoke of, must have been Elgrim.
Elgrim, in his own way, had put the demon tribe first. Even if he were to be resented by his former student and Aishe for doing so….
“Don’t you dare come here.”
I stopped Jesha and Doehill and the others who tried to approach to join our fight.
“I’ll stop this guy on my own.”
I jumped out and Aishe, who stopped moving, started moving again.
[Aaah!!!]
Aishe and Elgrim’s heads screamed at the same time, and Elgrim shoots a poisonous needle out of his mouth. I unfurl the shawl my master knitted for me to catch the needles, while I throw the black dagger in the air, entangling it with a Heavy Shaped Pendulum and slamming it into Aishe with the weight of the two weapons.
Bakiin!!
