Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 228.1
Before the Show
“…It’s not interesting.”
In a dark room with no sunlight shining into a mansion in the royal capital, a girl muttered.
Alicia Melsis, daughter of a viscount. She was recommended by the Crown Prince’s faction and recognized as a saint by the Holy Church and the Theocracy of Fandora, where her main temple is located. After defeating a demon that appeared in the royal capital, she was also recognized by the people as [Saint Licia], a nickname given to her by the people.
Everything follows the “official history.” To be precise, it follows the Ervan route of the Otome Game [Falling in Love with Silver Wings], and involves conquering a large-scale dungeon together with the target of the dungeon. By saving the soldiers there, she is recognized as a saint, but due to the difference in the premise, the situation has changed from what should have been desired.
In the original Ervan route, the heroine Alicia uses “sacred magic” spontaneously during an outdoor exercise, which leads to rumors that she might be a “saint.” The people demand that she become queen, which causes the villainous young lady Clara to plot to assassinate the heroine, but Clara never attempts to assassinate her after Alicia becomes a saint.
Licia cannot use sacred magic. Being narcissistic, she was never loved by the spirits.
Licia makes up for the fame she could have gained from sacred magic by defeating the demonic kin she created, but Elena, who should have been her ally, turns against her, and the nobles who should have supported the saint as the main queen do not accept Licia.
One of the reasons Licia thinks is the “pink-haired girl” who is guarding the princess.
He had the temple knights attack her, trying to eliminate her by hinting at her hostility towards the Holy Church, but when she realized that the damage would affect her master, she disappeared and, blending into the shadows, began to weaken the power of the nobles’ faction, which was the faction of the Saintess, and the voices calling for Licia to become the official queen became even quieter.
If that girl had attacked Licia directly, he might have been able to use that as an excuse to find out the Princess’ weakness. For that reason, he always had temple knights and greater demons as guards, but that girl did not make such a foolish move and attacked with a sneaky move.
But that doesn’t mean there won’t be an attack. Because of that, Licia was unable to move her precious greater demons effectively.
“…Teach me”
Licia clutched the half-broken magic stone that she had in her amulet bag, and the sharp corner of the chipped stone cut Licia’s hand, causing a slight bleed to appear.
The magic stone contains the memories and emotions of a certain woman, and it teaches Licia many things. Licia frowns at the passion that is trying to eat away at her, but she speaks to the memories of the woman inside the stone and selects the necessary information.
“So… there was an event like that.”
As Licia mutters this, she feels something stir on the bed she is sitting on.
“… Licia. What’s wrong?”
“No, nothing.”
Licia smiles innocently and clings to Amol’s chest as if to plead.
“I’m not really recognized as a saint, so I’m sad…”
“That’s not true. Even if they really think that about me, I’ll do something about it.”
“Amol-sama…”
Amol, who was previously not recognized by anyone and was kept in the castle just to ensure the number of royals, was depressed, but after receiving the {Gift}, his personality changed.
