Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 35.2
“Anya, did you see that? My spear handling!”
Tony, a boy who was a Spearman, looked back repeatedly at the girl walking behind him.
The peach-blonde girl who gave them the chance to beat the bandits called herself “Anya” and said she was also on her way to the north.
She seemed to be a Rank 1 adventurer like Rico and the others. It was unnatural for a girl to travel alone in a forest like this, but Dan, the bowman who had been healed by her [Heal], insisted on thanking her, and Anya reluctantly agreed to go with Rico and the other two.
“Hey, hey Anya, come join us, we’ll feel safer with someone who can use [Heal].”
“Oh yeah, Anya, you’d also like to have a vanguard, wouldn’t you?”
Dan and Tony were eagerly inviting Anya to the party.
But Anya shook her head quietly in response.
She didn’t talk much and showed little emotion. If it were a girl in town that Rico and his friends were talking to, they might have felt ridiculed, but Anya’s fragility and transparency, as if she were about to disappear, made even that seem attractive to them.
Anya was an adventurer, but she didn’t seem to know much about adventurers, so she asked them a few basic questions.
How do adventurers fight? How do they earn money?
When we told her where to buy weapons and tools, she nodded her head while showing her admiration to those places.
Was that the reason Anya was with us? She knew a lot, but she didn’t seem familiar with the basics.
Who the hell was she? This unnaturalness made the boys even more protective of her, and their interest in Anya grew.
They arrived at the next campsite in the evening, hunted wild birds with Dan’s bow, and ate them after roasting.
Anya said she was going to wipe herself off and headed for the water, and Rico and the three of them talked about her by the campfire.
“Damn, Anya, you took all your stuff, too?”
“Tony…”
When Rico admonished him for speaking like a thief, Tony stopped the friendly attitude he had shown during the day and spitted in a frivolous manner.
“That’s fine. I haven’t had a woman’s attention for a while since I left the country. God will forgive me if I go through your underwear.”
“You’re still a kid, right?”
“My sister became a concubine of the lord when she was thirteen. She’s no different.”
“I saw something, didn’t I?”
“What?”
Tony asked Dan, who had suddenly changed the subject.
“When she pulled out the knife, she had her skirt up, didn’t she?”
“Yeah, I caught a glimpse of it. She had beautiful legs, though still thin, you know?”
“No, no, no. I have good eyesight, so I could see Anya’s thighs for a second. You know what I mean? I saw her thighs.”
“I don’t understand.”
“You don’t know? She’s probably not wearing any… “
“””…”””
The boys fell silent. Their faces had an unusual shade of a little red, but not from the bonfire.
Remembering Anya’s still young but beautiful face and the white, unscathed legs that were visible for a moment, they cut away the slight self-control of the still young boys.
“Anya is late…”
“Ummm… maybe she’s probably not just wiping herself off… perhaps she’s taking a bath?”
The three of them were not accustomed to holding back because of their relatively effortless lives in proximity to the nobility.
Young adventurers lacked self-control. And when they were in the forest, away from the eyes of the guards and dealing with children, not adults, who could be intimidated at any time, their self-control crumbled like a sandcastle.
“Hey…”
“What?”
Rico replied to Tony’s quiet muttering with annoyance and restlessness, soon he gave a sly smile as he looked at his two companions.
“You want to play a prank… don’t you?”
