Training Mission (4) – The 2nd Division

After finishing our bandits’ subjugation mission, we rode our horses to the west. Our destination was a medium-sized fort called Yufe. Lately, the 2nd Division often used it as their base.

That was why I told Wickharlt, Diku, Luzel, and Frein that I wanted to take advantage of the vacation period after completing the mission to meet the 2nd Division and they all said they would accompany me.

By the way, Nidhogg was the name of the Commander of the 2nd Division.

“Captain Rezol? It’s been a while.”

“It certainly has been..but why are you here? I’m sure you are…”

“Yeah, as you have probably heard, I have resigned as the Commander. Currently, I have become a member of the 10th Division as Roa-dono’s aide.”

“Yes, I am Roa. Rays-sama has entrusted me with the Roa Brigade. These two are my brigade’s captains, Luzel and Frein. And this here is also my aide, Diku.”

“I have heard of Captain Luzel’s name. He is leading the only cavalry unit of the 10th Division.”

“It would be disrespectful to turn you away after you’ve come all the way here. I’ll ask for permission from our Commander, so could you all please wait here for a while?”

“We will do so. My apologies for bothering you.”

“Please don’t be. Besides, it’s raining in the middle of the night, so many knights are off duty today. We might be able to share plenty of useful things with you all.”

After saying that, Captain Rezol left.
