Strict Wife Of The ’70s Manages The Household - Chapter 563
Dawang rolled his eyes at him, “If you’re not afraid of being beaten, be my guest and go.”
Sanwang didn’t dare to, so he let his Elder Sister and Second Brother go ahead. Father wouldn’t blame them for anything since they were good at studying.
At this moment, three or four children ran in from outside, shouting, “We kowtow to Third Uncle and kowtow to Third Lady.”
The children rushed into the main room and knelt down on the straw, kowtowing seriously.
Lin Lan didn’t expect that there would be children coming to kowtow to her, so she said happily, “Kowtowing the moment you get here? Get up quickly.”
The children’s faces were flushed from the cold and some even had runny noses.
These were the children of Zhang Caihong’s family. Lin Lan wiped their snot with toilet paper, grabbed some peanuts and melon seeds before stuffing them in their pockets. Each child also had two pieces of candy and 2 cents.
“Happy New Year, Third Aunt,” They cheered out of joy.
They just wanted to try their luck, but they didn’t expect that there were really melon seeds and peanuts.
Plus, there was candy and money.
How marvellous!
Third Aunt was a good person.
They invited Sanwang and Erwang before leaving, “Let’s go, let’s kowtow together.”
A boy whispered to Sanwang, “We can always ask for more.”
Sanwang didn’t care much about the peanuts given by other adults, but he liked causing a ruckus with others the most.
Not to mention that he was a little uncomfortable since his mother actually gave other children as much as she gave him.
He had to go and ‘recollect the debt’ from the other houses.
Lin Lan asked them all to go, “They kowtowed to me and your father, so you guys should go over as well to pay your respects.”
The Han family was the most common surname in the village. Anyone who was part of the current 5-generation-family were eligible to pay respects to their family members.
Sanwang was eager to try, but Dawang hesitated.
Lin Lan waved at him, “Go, walk around, it will be very fast.”
So the group of children ran out with a whoosh.
Dawang strolled behind and followed. When he left the courtyard, he heard Sanwang and a child muttering.
He whispered, “I’ll be your boyfriend, so if you kowtow and get some money, you have to give some to me.”
The kid didn’t know what boyfriend meant, so he asked.
Sanwang, “A boyfriend is the most powerful boss, so it’s someone who can protect you.”
The child, “Isn’t that Eldest Brother Dawang? I want Eldest Brother Dawang to be my boyfriend since is the most powerful.”
“You are so small and can only be a burden, so he doesn’t want you.”
The child thought about it before he happily agreed. Then, he took his boyfriend Sanwang’s hand and ran to kowtow together to ask for money.
Dawang, “…” What the hell is a boyfriend?
After such a fuss, Xiaowang woke up and rubbed his eyes. Those orbs lit up when he heard Lin Lan’s voice as he called out, “Mother.”
Lin Lan put the glasses on for him, “Come on, get up quickly, the dumplings will be served in a while.”
Xiaowang got up. The child wanted to be coquettish just after waking up, so he put his arms around Lin Lan’s neck and rubbed his head against her, “I like mother the most.”
“Mother also likes Xiaowang the most,” Lin Lan smiled and wiped his face with a towel, “Your brothers and sisters are all going to pay New Year’s greetings. Do you want to go?”
