Sanwang got into the water without warming up. Suddenly, he felt a throbbing pain in his calf and realised that his leg was cramped. He was so frightened that he quickly kicked his legs and swam to the shore. As a result, the pain became even more excruciating as he suddenly curled up and sank into the water.

Xingfu gloated, “Haha, he has cramps. It’s over for him!”

After waiting for a while, Sanwang sank into the water and there was still no movement— not even bubbles were coming out. The children on the shore were suddenly frightened.

Xiaowang was so frightened that he cried. He saw a long stick in the haystack next to him, so he ran to drag one and wanted to use the stick to pull his Third Brother up.

Wearing a thick cotton coat and practically inhaling a gush of water, bubbles started to form as his whole body began to sink.

Sanwang was so scared that his soul almost flew away, “Xiaowang!”

He was so anxious that he forgot about his leg cramps, curling up one leg and swimming desperately towards Xiaowang. When he finally reached his brother, he grabbed Xiaowang’s cotton-padded jacket and pushed him to the shore.

The thick cotton coat was soaked with water and suddenly, it was as heavy as a stone. Sanwang couldn’t feel it that much when they were still in the water, but it took a lot of strength to push his brother out of the water. Fortunately, Xiaowang stopped struggling. Otherwise, if he held him down at this time, both of them would have sunk to the bottom.

Sanwang’s leg was still cramped and he had exhausted all his strength. He was so anxious that tears flowed down his face as he was unable to even fathom his pain.

“Xiaowang, Xiaowang…” He was shaking so badly. Seeing that Xiaowang had his eyes closed tightly and was unconscious, he was so anxious that he summoned the remaining burst of his strength to get his brother out of the water. And then, he proceeded to clamber up as well.
