The Invincible Villain - Chapter 4
(Three days later)
After transferring ownership in front of the senior management of Li Group, Li Tianxiong patted Li Xiao’s shoulder and then left the conference room.
“Everyone, I’m now the chairman of Li Group. I hope we can make progress together in the future.”
Li Xiao lightly spoke as he sat in the main seat sweeping a circle of Li Group executives.
“Congrats Chairman Li.”
“The future of our company relies on Chairman Li.”
The echoes of senior executives filled the room.
Knocking on the table, Li Xiao spoke calmly. “I’ve got a few things to announce.”
Li Xiao’s words caused the senior executives to look at one another. They feared that the newly appointed boss would fire them. No one knew who would be fired.
“General manager Yuan Yu, deputy manager of the procurement department Lin Bai, marketing manager He Ming, deputy manager of the administrative department Du Li, please write your resignation letter.”
Li Xiao said expressionlessly.
“Chairman Li, what do you mean by dismissing these people? They’re part of Li’s Group staff, and you’re firing them? You may not know much about the group, so as your uncle I advise you against it.”
The middle-aged man in the foreground held up his glasses and said.
Li Xiao looked at the middle-aged man. This man owned six percent of the Li Group, and his identity wasn’t simple in the novel.
In the novel, this individual contributed to the Li Group’s downfall through the protagonist.
Because of this, Li Xiao pointed out the people associated with Zhang Yunfei just now.
“Heh.” Li Xiao chuckled lightly as if in contempt of Zhang Yunfei, causing his face to redden slightly.
Ignoring what Zhang Yunfei said, Li Xiao knocked on the table and said without hesitation, “I haven’t finished my words yet. Yuan Yu, Lin Bai, He Ming, and Du Li are all involved in illegally annexing the company’s hundreds of millions of yuan. I’ve provided the evidence to the Economic Division; you’ll have to explain it yourself later.
Lin Bai, Yuan Yu, and others’ looked nervously at Zhang Yunfei, waiting for his assistance.
However, Zhang Yunfei’s pupils shrank as he looked at Li Xiao in disbelief.
How did Li Xiao find out about it?
Zhang Yunfei asked tentatively. “What do you mean by that, Chairman Li? Don’t joke around at this time.”
Li Xiao waved his hand, and the secretary behind him took a folder and handed it to him.
Lin Xiao put the folder on the table.
Seeing it, Yuan Yu and others, including Du Li, broke out in a cold sweat.
“Uncle Zhang, you don’t need to be shocked so fast. This is a share transfer letter. You read it and sign it.” Li Xiao said indifferently to Zhang Yunfei after signaling his secretary to hand him the contract.
Soon, after examining the contract in uncertainty, Zhang Yunfei slapped the contract on the table angrily.
“Li Xiao, what do you mean? Exchanging ten billion yuan worth of my six percent shares of the group for one yuan?”
“Is Chairman Li insane?”
“As the saying goes, ‘A newborn calf is not scared of a tiger’.”
“Tens of billions for one yuan?
As the senior executives stared at Li Xiao with a dumbfounded look, they couldn’t understand what Young Master Li was thinking.
“I’ve some news to share with you, Uncle Zhang. I don’t know if you’re interested.” Saying that, Li Xiao pushed a tablet in front of Zhang Yunfei.
When Zhang Yunfei looked at the contents of the tablet, his face appeared horrified. His body turned numb. His heart felt ominous, and his complexion changed immediately.
This thought emerged from Zhang Yunfei’s mind.
He knew very well what would happen to him if this information were to fall into the hands of the Security Division.
Would he merely be sentenced?
There was only one possible outcome for him: death sentence!
Zhang Yunfei had done a lot of terrible things over the years.
“Uncle Zhang, what do you think of this contract?” Li Xiao asked again.
“I’ll sign it.”
With a gloomy face, Zhang Yunfei gritted his teeth and said.
The senior management group glanced at each other and couldn’t help shock. The entire atmosphere of the conference room seemed tense.
After Zhang Yunfei finished signing the contract, Li Xiao looked at it and said indifferently, “Notify them that they can be arrested.”
The secretary nodded.
“What do you mean by that, Chairman Li.” The ominous feeling in Zhang Yunfei’s heart grew stronger and stronger.
Not long after, a team from the Security Division entered the conference room and immediately arrested Zhang Yunfei, along with Yuan Yu and all the others.
“Li Xiao you don’t keep your word.”
Zhang Yunfei said angrily.
“I fucking signed a contract to give you the shares, and you stabbed me!”
“Did I say I would let you go after you transferred your shares?” Li Xiao asked in surprise.
Li Xiao wasn’t kind-hearted to repay grievances with virtue. He would be ruthless instead, if not, he might end with more miserable state in the future than in the novel.
