Mu Qingxin looked at Tong Yan and felt that he was rather disdainful, seemingly looking down on everyone around him.

She ignored Tong Yan. No matter if Wei Lan was annoyed or not, she was going to follow them.

 

On said day, they went to the party hall together. Mu Qingxin wore some casually styled tight-legged jeans, a loose jacket and also carried a black bag on her back.

 

When they got there, Lou Xu had been playing billiards with Wei Lan. As there was no other action between them, Mu Qingxin just sat and watched.

 

When she saw Wei Lan pulling Lou Xu aside, Mu Qingxin immediately got up to follow her, but a long leg suddenly stretched out to block her way. He stepped on the table and asked, “Why are you so annoying?”

 

This was the first sentence Tong Yan had said to Mu Qingxin. There was a hint of impatience in the words and his eyes that looked at her were full of disgust.

 

Mu Qingxin was not a good stalker either as her aura was not weak at all. She slightly raised her chin and asked, “Are you in a place to bother?”

 

“It’s normal for two people to fall in love, and also, it’s normal for them to want to be alone. What are you doing, trying to follow along all the time?”

 

“I don’t care if he falls in love with anyone else, but since his girlfriend is Xuxu, I have to care.”

 

“Oh, then Wei Lan is my buddy, so I have to take care of this too.”

 

Mu Qingxin pushed Tong Yan’s legs away, but just after walking a few steps, she saw Lou Xu hugging Wei Lan’s neck. It was her best friend who took the initiative to tiptoe and kiss Wei Lan.

 

Wei Lan was not at all shy after being kissed. He still had that frivolous yet very gentle smile as he lowered his head and said something to Lou Xu.

 

Mu Qingxin stopped when she saw this scene. Suddenly, she felt that she was really being too nosy since Lou Xu seemed to be more active than Wei Lan.

 

Tong Yan came over and pulled Mu Qingxin back. He stopped when he reached the blind spot of vision and said, “You’re just going to stand there in a daze? Will you not be in an awkward situation if your friend sees you?”

 

“I, I…” Mu Qingxin stuttered when she answered and the tone of her voice was very low.

 

Tong Yan was tall, so he just lowered his head, looked at her and asked, “What?”

 

Mu Qingxin quickly raised her eyes and glanced at him. Her lips moved, but she didn’t answer and just looked at Tong Yan awkwardly.

 

Seeing Mu Qingxin’s panicked look, Tong Yan couldn’t help laughing as he asked her, “Why are you blushing when two people are kissing?”

 

Mu Qingxin raised her hands to her face and found that her cheeks were a little hot. She was actually even more flustered than the couple who were on the receiving ends of the kiss.

 

While panicking, Tong Yan turned to the side, took out a can of Sprite from the refrigerator and handed it to Mu Qingxin.

 

Mu Qingxin looked at Sprite and didn’t respond.

 

Tong Yan explained helplessly, “I didn’t put anything inside it!”

 

With that being said, she took Sprite and placed it on her cheek.

 

The cold touch made Mu Qingxin shudder as she quickly reached out to take it before reluctantly saying, “Thank you.”

 

Tong Yan knew Wei Lan well, so he said, “Wei Lan looks goofy and seems like he can’t be trusted, but generally, he knows what he should do, so don’t worry.”

 

Mu Qingxin opened the Sprite and took a sip as she still insisted, “I will still keep my guard up just in case, men aren’t trustable creatures.”

 

Tong Yan felt that he was being dissed, so he glanced at Mu Qingxin unhappily. Where did this little girl come from?

 

Mu Qingxin straightened her waist with confidence.

 

Tong Yan suddenly said in a very serious tone, “I am.”

 

“What are you?”

 

“A good creatu… no, a good man.”
