Chapter 126 – Hasagi

Haruka, Ria, Yunika, and Reika were walking side by side on a street away from the live house.

Haruka received a message.

[Where are you, Haruka-san?]

Haruka replied with a marker of their current location. Following the guide, Shinku arrived in less than three minutes.

“Hello, Shinku.”

“Yes. Everyone… is here.”

Shinku looked at each of the girls in turn, and finally glanced at Haruka while narrowing her eyes.

“Well, let’s head home.”

Haruka grabbed the hand of a sour faced Shinku and forced her to walk next to him.

The others followed alongside them.

“Claudia-san, is this your first time going to Obi-kun’s house?”

“Yes, it will be so desu wa.”

Yes, this was Shinku’s first visit in the Obi household.

It would complicate things if Shinku ran into Yuzurika, but Haruka had to resign himself to the fact the they were destined to meet each other sooner or later.

“Obi-kun’s house is quite big.”

“Heh~, is that so, hmph.”

“And there are so many shampoos and hair treatments in the bathroom, I’m sure you’ll be surprised.”

“Haruka-san?”

“I’m sorry.”

Every time Reika blurts out something, Shinku’s gaze turns colder.

Haruka couldn’t decide whether Reika did it intentionally or she was just airheaded, but the situation was going to get worse if he left Reika alone.

“Is Yuzurika-san at home today?”

“Yes, she is. She’s probably diving in VR right now though.”

“I’d like to talk to her again once she logs off.”

“Nee-san will be very happy to see you.”

“What’s Haruka’s sister like?”

Yunika and Shinku doesn’t know what kind of person Yuzurika is, all they know is that she’s a flashy looking woman. Yunika didn’t meet Yuzurika the last time she stayed at Haruka’s house.

“She has a rather messed up personality.”

“Does Haruka have any right to say that?”

Ria laughed in amusement.

“That’s right!”

“I agree…”

While the five of them were walking leisurely, a large car pulled up beside them.

The door automatically opened, Haruka urged them to get in.

Starting with Shinku, they went inside the car. Haruka got in last and closed the door.

Once the car was in motion, it wouldn’t take long for them to arrive at their destination.

They are now in a deserted street lined with the familiar houses of the Obi family, the Uta family, and the Kureha family.

“Is that really Uta-san’s house next door?”

Shinku muttered as she glanced at Miyako’s house.

“That’s right. We’ve always been together.”

Shinku stared at Miyako’s house without any expression on her face as she listened to Haruka.

Shinku felt a little bit envious of Miyako. She had been with Haruka ever since they were little.

“Come in.”

Haruka opened the front door and welcomes them in.

Yunika and Shinku stepped in with a somewhat nervous look on their faces.

The house was quiet and still. There were no signs of anyone, Yuzurika didn’t seem to be in the living room at least.

“This is the living room. Make yourselves at home.”

When Haruka said so, Ria who was already a resident of the Obi household, laid down and got into the kotatsu comfortably.

Following Ria, Reika sat down on the opposite side.

Shinku and Yunika were appealing to Haruka to make a move first.

Reading the situation, Haruka sat down in the middle of a big sofa near the kotatsu. The two immediately took position on both his sides.

In front of everyone, Yunika boldly leaned against Haruka, though her cheeks were stained with embarrassment.

Haruka on the other hand, leaned against Shinku, which made her body sink deeply into the sofa.

“Haruka-san, you’re heavy.”

“Deal with it.”

“Mou, it can’t be helped desu wa.”

Shinku’s resigned voice was filled with joy. She tried her best to suppress the corners of her mouth from smiling, and maintained her nonchalant demeanor.

Before Shinku knew it, her hand was already intertwined with Haruka’s. Shinku closed her eyes, enjoying Haruka’s warmth.

Shinku had a feeling that this kind of day will continue from now on. She was confident that this would be the case.

A complex relationship, and complicated feelings. From the outside it would look like nothing was going to work out, but it was hard to stay away.

As if trapped in a chain, as if entangled by a spider’s thread, the choice of leaving Haruka did not come to Shinku’s mind.

So in the end, Shinku gave in and filled her heart with Haruka’s love, which was supposed to be equally shared.

Shinku squeezed Haruka’s hand tightly while kissing his upper arm through his clothes.
