The Struggles of Being A Mother of Villains - Chapter 121
Ch.121 I’m Praising Her (2)
Because Ban Zheye bought an animated film in English, Xiao Ruoguang didn’t understand. Therefore, they came to the theater and chose a new film at the last moment. The family of four waited at the back of the line. This was normal to Xiao Yu and to Xiao Ruoguang.
Therefore, Xiao Yu asked Ji Xuan. “Are you used to this?”
Ji xuan looked calmly ahead. “Very.”
“Used to it?” Xiao Yu asked shockingly.
Ji Xuan smiled faintly and said, “It feels like I was waiting on line for food in the army.”
Everyone looked at Ji Xuan, speechless, even Xiao Yu. She scratched her head and asked Ji Yu, “Little Yu, what do you want to watch?”
Ji Yu looked at the different pictures and said, “There’s no cartoon. Brother, what do you want to watch?”
Xiao Ruoguang hugged Ji Xuan’s neck and looked up. He didn’t recognize a lot of words. He could only pick from the posters and the pictures. He pointed at a robot and asked, “Is that interesting?”
Xiao Yu said, “I don’t know. Haven’t watched it but we can watch it today. You’ll know whether it’s interesting or not after watching it.”
Xiao Ruoguang looked at Ji Xuan and he nodded. Therefore, the four walked over and he said, “Give me four tickets of the robot?…G…o…dzilla?”
Ji Xuan was stunned and turned to look at Xiao Yu. “Robot and Godzilla’s fight?”
Xiao Yu smiled. “Your son’s the one watching, not you.”
The ticket seller asked, “Four tickets? Kids can watch for free.”
Xiao Yu waved her hands. “Four tickets. I want them to have their own seats.”
Therefore, with four tickets, they went to watch the movie.
After coming out of the theater, Ji Xuan criticized, “This movie isn’t realistic at all. It has nothing to do with humans.”
Xiao Yu retorted, “After all, we can’t win the robots or Godzilla. Isn’t it okay to let them kill one another?”
Ji Xuan was speechless.
Xiao Yu picked up a call and the woman’s voice on the other side appeared quite shy.
“H, hello.”
Uncle Lin’s car was here. Ji Xuan opened the door for her. Xiao Yu got in the car after the two kids.
“Who are you?” Xiao Yu asked.
They seemed to have taken a deep breath before saying, “Hello, I’m Fei Yutong.”
Xiao Yu nodded. “Hello.”
They became silent again. Xiao Yu said nothing either. She gestured Ji Yu to stay silent.
“Um…uh, I…want to invite you…to be my piano teacher.”
Xiao Yu froze. “Why did you decide on me?”
“I heard that Xie Haiyun used to be your student.”
Xiao Yu hummed and the other party kept saying, “I don’t believe that Xie Haiyun has the ability to obtain an award. I heard you had been her teacher. I’m more likely to believe that you’ve done a good job teaching her.”
“Sorry! If you’re here because you want to obtain an award, I can’t do anything. Even now, I’m thinking about practicing myself and then participating in the competition. How can I help someone else?” Xiao Yu rejected.
That person was a bit anxious. “Sorry, I’m not thinking about obtaining an award. I, I just want to beat Xie Haiyun.”
“Can I know why?” Xiao Yu asked.
The girl stayed silent for a minute. Xiao Yu didn’t rush her either.
The girl then slowly said, “I’m not talented in playing piano and I’m worse than Xie Haiyun as well. I’ve tried, for so long. But I just can’t. Last month, my mother had to be hospitalized due to a serious illness…” The girl cried. “Since I was young, she had been wanting me to become a good pianist because my father is a famous pianist. He passed away. My mother raised me all by herself. She hoped I could follow in my father’s footsteps. But the last competition before she passed away, I still got a bad score.”
“My condolences.” Xiao Yu exclaimed this without sympathy, just out of politeness.
