Julio jumped after Flare and shot out a spear of water, and as Flare dispelled it with a wall of flame, the king attacked from behind Julio.

“Die!”

Nearly a hundred blades of wind, comparable to 7th class wind magic [Whirlwind Blades], struck Flare, but she lightly avoided them, fighting them off with a minimum amount of flame…

[-Hii].

The blades of wind that were evaded cut into the nobles of the Royal Capital, who were struggling to escape.

“Oh, Uncle, could you please not kill my subjects in vain?”

“They are my subjects!!!!”

…Grotesque. I left it to Flare over there, but they were doing it in a rather flashy way….

The Great Spirits of Wind and Water had been bound for 100 years, so they had been weakened considerably, but still, it was two against one, so I wanted to go to their aid, but I had things to do on my own.

“[Enperial]!”

I fired Combat Skill from my magic bow, Gandiva, and struck down the advanced spirits that had gone out of control and started attacking humans.

The monsters had reduced their numbers, but still, the spirits protecting [Beloved Child] continued to gather one after another, so the battle situation was not easily tilted in our direction because of Alice alone.

That Alice was protected by Maron, the son of the first Court magician, and Luka, the grandson of the Archbishop, and she was camped out in a corner of the hall.

It was a hassle just to deal with Alice, but with those two by her side, she could not be eradicated quickly at once.

It was true that Maron was a voyeuristic underwear stalker of the worst kind, and Luka was a guy who could only trust others with money and children smaller than himself whom he could order around, but I think it was difficult to kill them just because they were creeps. …right? 

And Alice, too, was really out of control, but not solely out of malice.

“Elf-san, you can’t dazzle me now with such a fluffy cloth, I only have a few more pictures to take!” (Maron)

“Not only did you seduce my grandfather, who likes young girls, but you’re taller than me, even though you’re a subhuman! I won’t pay you for being my friend!” (Luka)

“Carol-san, quit being a Demon Lord and atone for your sins! If you buy this dragon-tusk-like stamp and a vase with a miraculous power, God will forgive you!” (Alice)

…Should I destroy them all together?

But I thought it would be better to just….

Licht…another message from the Great Spirit of Light appeared in my system.

It had been showing up regularly since I entered this magic academy, but I ignored it because it was bothersome, and it started showing up every minute or so.

It couldn’t be helped…. When I turned my attention to the message in my brain, a translucent map appeared to cover my vision and a light was blinking in the center of the school.

What is that… this unidentified targeted object?

As I said that, Bert-san, who was dealing with a spirit and a knight at the same time, raised a puzzled voice, but one Cyclops who arrived and stood by his side covered his mouth and blinked its big eyes at me as if to say [Go]…
