The Villainess That Was Once A VRMMO player - Chapter 93.3
He didn’t think – no, he tried not to think – that the Demon Lord, that joke of a being, was not only really real, but that it would show up in his lifetime.
“But…”
Perhaps that was why the Goddess had called Shota.
CRIMSON DEATH LORD.
As the name suggests, the preliminary information was that the level 150 Immortal King – the Elder Lich – was the opponent, and there would be a large-scale battle of 1,000 players to outwit the endless stream of zombies, ghouls, and other enemies, from which a party of players who had accumulated a certain number of points and take on the Demon Lord and defeat him.
However, the [Demon Lord] revealed on the official website a few days before the release of the game was a thin girl with glossy black hair and long ears, and a bright red mini-dress, although her face was completely dark and her golden eyes were shining. She was not quite what everyone imagined an “Elder Lich” to look like.
According to the mutterings of what seemed to be an employee who complained on a certain VR bulletin board, the boss character was hastily replaced a few weeks before the release of the game after a certain well-known scenario writer of the VRMMORPG exclaimed, “God has come down from the heavens and made a new character”. The character designer and modeling staff had to stay up all night for several days because of the detailed instructions on appearance and clothing.
As expected, the content up to the large-scale battle could not be changed, and the title was left unchanged, but the changed boss characters are amazing, with levels exceeding 200, dozens of skills, and some combat skills exceeding 100 and even 150 skills.
What was that? What a joke! Too many cheats.
If you let that information alone be analyzed, at the very least, the total combat power would easily exceed 400,000.
The total combat power of a crazed player was around 70,000….
And the Demon Lord’s numbers exceeded that of the Gods that had been set, and the management thought that was indeed a mistake, so the battle format was changed to 3 parties of 18 players instead of 1 party, and the scenario writers changed it to [Repel] where the Demon Lord would retreat after dealing a certain amount of damage, instead of [Defeat].
Some hoped that perhaps players would be able to release skills above 100, but the official website announced that players would not be able to release skills above 100 for the sake of game balance, and players were left to face the strongest and worst enemy in the game as it was now.
On Shota’s server, other big-name clans took up the challenge before Shota and his clan, but they were laughably easily defeated, and in fact, when they emerged from the [Uninhabited City] where they were competing, they were not frustrated but had a thin smile of dismay on their faces.
Seeing this, Shota’s clan also went in with as many elixirs as they could muster, 18 of them close to level 100, but the situation was really nothing but a laughing matter.
The Demon Lord danced with her long sword, which is not easy to use in games, and cut down the rear guard with a single Combat Skills blow without stopping as if she were dancing, and if a defender tried to stop her, they would be stopped in their tracks by a barrage of guns, and then blown to pieces by 10th class magic.
