The Villainess That Was Once A VRMMO player - Chapter 94.4
Princess Lala smiled at the boy as he stretched out his back with a bright red face.
Shota’s party consisted of Shota, the warrior [brave]; Carlide, the shield [iron wall]; Delia, the sorceress [Blazing Fire]; and Lala, the healer [Saint].
The other six were Friedel [Flash], a swordsman who had escaped from Rebel, and Veronica [Eagle Eye], the best archer in the allied countries.
“With this sword of Friedel’s, I will cut down the Demon Lord who trampled on our homeland!”
“Then it’s a contest to see who is faster than my arrows!”
The party was the most battle-hardened of the 18, and the party was well-balanced, but Shota’s knowledge of the game was helpful in this regard.
“I see it!”
Veronica’s voice drew everyone’s attention toward the mountain, and the group of demons flying over the mountain could be seen clearly from a distance.
Wyverns and hippogriffs flying with the sky. The huge bodies of cyclops and hydras, kicking up the trees in the forest like weeds.
As a ripple of light spreaded out from the center of them, Saint Lala began to tremble with a blue face, as if she had noticed something.
“Lala-sama!”
“What’s wrong!?”
Lala muttered in a trembling voice at the sound of her friends’ voices.
“That…is…probably…the 10th class of holy magic…lost in mythology…”
A 10th class magic that only appears in mythology. Moreover, the heroes gasped in despair and nervousness as they realized that the rumors of the Demon Lord’s using holy magic were not exaggerated at all.
“…Miss Delia, please.”
“O, okay. I know, I know… it’s all just a facade.”
Delia came to her senses at the sound of Carlide’s voice and called out, her voice expanding with fourth level wind magic.
[Demon Lord! If your power is real, fight us! We will neither run nor hide!]
Delia’s voice echoed across the battlefield. The allied forces on the plains came to their senses at the sound of that voice and began to march on Demon Lord’s army, shouting that they would not let the heroes get in the way of defeating the Demon Lord.
A few minutes later… a jet-black dragon and a lone griffon leaped out of the Demon Lord army and headed straight for where Shota and the others were.
“It’s coming!!!”
Carlide, acting as a shield, stepped forward with his huge kite shield at the ready.
Then, the heroes gulped in astonishment at the sight of the Demon Lord in bizarre black armor from the back of the griffon that flew at a frightening speed, followed by the [Demon Lord] who had descended from the dark dragon with the silhouette of a wolf.
A petite elf girl in a crimson mini-dress with lustrous black hair.
Her dainty appearance, far from the impression of a [Demon Lord], would be better suited to reading or embroidering by a window than on the battlefield.
Shota was convinced that she was the worst Demon Lord – Crimson Death Lord – when he saw her VRMMO-like appearance.
(Die!)
At that moment, one of the second squads attacked the Demon Lord from the side.
Even within the same [Hero Class], there was a disparity in blessings, and the members of the second and third squads, who were determined to support the first squad that was directly confronting the Demon Lord, were inwardly dissatisfied.
Among them, an assassin-like man called “Setsuna” was not fooled by the Demon Lord’s appearance, and set out to assassinate the Demon Lord single-handedly in order to show off his power.
