Summary
In the fully immersive and realistic RPG online game [Illusory World], which has been in official public beta testing for its fourth year, Violet, one of the top players, experiences an unpredictable twist while participating in the conquest of a special dungeon.
With her eyes closed and then opened, Violet finds herself no longer in the game world but in a completely new and unknown place, separated from the modern society behind it.
Here, there is no doubt that it is the real world.
Violet’s incredible adventure begins, but this world seems somewhat different from what she had expected.
Enemy A: Why? You’re just a priestess, aren’t you!?
Violet: Is there a problem between me being a priestess and me being able to beat you with a stick? Drop your loot and hand it over!

This is hands down my favorite series in years. There’s a strong Taoist cosmology throughout with a fresh spin on what initially looks like a standard tsf isekai story. Take nothing for granted.

>!This is just a guess, but could an alternative title for this be “Lonely Luna Learns to Lucid Dream”? This is purely speculation with nothing to explicitly suggest this, but I feel like there is a Dreamer who can’t actively participate in her Dream. She has fragmented herself into many characters, but her core perspective is nothing but a witness. In the Origin World, the unchanging March Moon is her throne (time and space) which she cannot leave or the Dream will collapse. In another dream, she is a nameless, friendless Fox God. Then one day she dreams up a little fox friend who promises to help her form connections. We’re coming into the process late. Her new perspective, “Violet”, is the unification of important fragments, most notably joining her core self with the actualizer of her rebirth. Violet is looking at the world with new eyes and determining what to keep, what to fix, and what to return to Unity. She is the Serpent and the Phoenix and the World itself. The Tao gives birth to One (primordial light as undifferentiated potential), the One gives birth to Two (matter and void as basic polarity), the Two gives birth to Three (Violet as Creative Synthesis), and the Three gives birth to all things. This is a story of self-discovery, healing, and enlightenment.!<
