A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 78.3
“You’re just spouting off all you want! So what if it is true? We are heroes! We conquered the bottom of the world! Can you do the same thing? You can’t even do that!” (Aldis)
Without the Royal Family, the guards, Ilysis, and other powerful people, most of the people would have panicked and fled.
While everyone’s attention was on Yggdrasia, only Litty was looking at the presiding judge’s seat at the front of the room.
Aldis, annoyed by this, moved to Litty’s side. The knight on guard immediately rushed over, but Aldis was quick to act.
“What are you smiling about? You think you’re cute? Hey…!” (Aldis)
“I have nothing to say to you.” (Litty)
“Haah?” (Aldis)
Aldis finally punched Litty in the face. The force of the blow was so powerful that Litty was almost blown away towards the audience.
Amidst the screams, Litty stood up a moment later.
“What are you doing?”
“Enough! That’s enough! You should stop!”
“Shut up! All of you, shut up!” (Aldis)
Aldis shouted at the audience, who were also frightened. The two Royals remained silent.
Like Redner, the King was also interested in Litty, the adventurer.
Despite the situation, Litty was able to maintain her composure and speak back to Aldis, the potential target of her fear.
This was no ordinary mindset. The King felt something unfathomable about Litty.
“Are you all defending this little brat? A little brat who couldn’t even hold a candle to me in terms of ability? Can you imagine what it’s like to be in an unexplored region? There are monsters you can’t even imagine.” (Aldis)
“Unimaginable monsters…!” (Litty)
Litty flinched at the word, even though it was right after Aldis had hit her.
Everyone had a feeling that Aldis was going to lose his temper again.
“You little brat…” (Aldis)
“That’s enough. You have already lost.” (Ilysis)
It was Ilysis who stopped Aldis’ fist. Everyone was amazed at the way she stopped the Hero’s fist with a cool expression on her face.
Aldis, who took in the meaning of Ilysis’ words as they were, became even more enraged.
“When did I lose!?” (Aldis)
“Now!” (Ilysis)
Ilysis deflected Aldis’s onslaught. If it was a fight, Ilysis would barely be able to hold off Aldis, especially now that Aldis was in a state of rage.
Aldis was also not so naive that he would think that he could break through by swinging his fists in anger.
“She’s not even perceiving your feelings. And it seems like she doesn’t even see you as something worth her time. You are not in that girl’s view anymore.” (Ilysis)
“You, you piece of…!” (Aldis)
“It seems like she is only looking for adventures. If you want to interrupt her, you have to be appealing enough for her to notice you.” (Ilysis)
“I don’t get it!” (Aldis)
“Enough. You are simply embarrassing yourself.” (King)
The king looked coldly at Yggdrasia. He, unlike Redner, was actually supporting adventurers and even including them in his ruling policies.
After showing his disappointment, he followed with a sigh.
“Normally, you would be sentenced to the maximum penalty, but I cannot ignore your past achievements. Therefore, I will personally impose a sentence on you.” (King)
Everyone felt a cold wind blow through the courtroom. It was not a presiding judge, but the highest authority in the country who was qualified to do so.
Without a word, the presiding judge handed the role over to the King.
