A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 78.4
“I request that the Adventurer’s Guild revoke Yggdrasia’s adventurer license, along with the revocation of their honorary position. All their assets will be confiscated, and they will be required to work in the mines for the next 10 years. After that, they are to be deported.” (King)
“Huh? Haah?” (Aldis)
Aldis was shaking, but not because he was angry. It was a reaction to his inability to accept reality.
“Hey! My father won’t allow that!” (Clarine)
Clarine, the saint of the Mathias cult, screamed in half frenzy, but the king was unfazed.
“You have deceived me, the King, and used your power for your own personal greed. I am more outraged than ever. I am struggling to not give you the ultimate punishment!” (King)
The King raged as he pounded his fist on the table. Yggdrasia, no matter how great it was, would not be safe if it made enemies of a country.
Everyone in the country would become an enemy, and they would not be able to enter any of the cities. They would be forced to camp out in dangerous places where monsters roamed.
Food and all other supplies would be cut off. And they would be pursued by their pursuers day after day.
“…If we disappear, it will be the end of adventurers here! Are there adventurers stronger than us? The Adventurers’ Guild headquarters? They may be arrogant enough to think they’re the best, but they’re really just a bunch of people stranded at the end of the world.” (Aldis)
Aldis continued to ramble on in the silent courtroom, Litty still wouldn’t look at him.
“We’ve made it to the depths where anyone couldn’t reach… What’s wrong with having better treatment than those who live on a pittance, doing a safe job in a safe zone? What about all the magic stones and energy sources we found at the bottom of the world?” (Aldis)
“That’s right, Aldis has a point.” (Zhul)
“That’s right, Aldis. And I’m a saint! Don’t you understand my position?” (Clarine)
“I’m tired of hearing you talk, Ilysis, get them out of here.” (Redner)
Redner instructed Ilysis in a bored tone. She and the other knights put the “shackles” on the arms of Aldis and the others.
The shackles took away so much of their strength that they felt as if their arms had been cut off, and even Aldis couldn’t resist.
“Aaah! The adventurers are done! Yes, it’s over! Hey, you little brat! Remember this! Hey! Hey!” (Aldis)
It was by no means that Litty did not hear it. In fact, at the moment Litty was punched, something in her almost snapped.
However, the unimaginable “monster” Aldis mentioned barely kept Litty together.
“Well then, move. Litty, just ignore them.” (Ilysis)
Ilysis pondered as she left. Litty was able to get back on her feet, even after receiving a serious blow from Aldis.
How did she get up so quickly? Ilysis suspected that there were probably only a few people in the room who noticed this.
Aldis’s fist did hit, but did not completely connect, and Litty was able to reduce the force of the blow just before it hit her. Was it because she had seen Aldis fight that she was able to do so, despite the nearly unexpected blow? Or–
“…I can feel a chill.” (Ilysis)
Ilysis muttered to no one in particular.
