A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 81.1
Litty Thinking About Senior Adventurers
“A party of Rank 2 adventurers, the Grand Sharks, became wanted.”
Litty knew of the Grand Sharks, but she was not surprised. She didn’t have a good impression of them, and they didn’t really mean anything to her.
However, since De Mile’s expression was tense, she waited for him to say something without making light of it.
“All the main entrances and exits of the royal city are sealed off…. The residents have also been urged to stay inside.”
“Because those people are so dangerous?”
“Yes. They are suspected of murdering adventurers. If they were just some small-time thugs, there wouldn’t be such a commotion.”
Talented people became wanted, and on top of that, they’re suspected of murder.
The details were unknown, but there was no telling when they might target someone else. It would be too late if damage had been done.
“The knights are currently handling the situation, but adventurers may also be asked to take them down. Of course, only those who are at least Rank 2 or above.” (De Mile)
“It seems I’m still not good enough…”
“As a Rank 2, even Natasha can’t be too careful. I’ve only worked with Grand Sharks once before, and they were quite capable.” (De Mile)
“Only once?”
“They randomly raise their fees, and if they don’t like it, they’ll even get violent. Well, that’s why they’ve fallen from prominence…” (De Mile)
Although Litty didn’t like them, she had to admit that they being Rank 2 were better than her at least in terms of achievements. Perhaps, even in terms of ability.
“Those people…Yggdrasia and Grand Sharks are such a waste. If they are that strong, they should have explored more places…”
“Grand… Sharks…”
The girl by Kuufa’s side trembled. Then she held her head with both hands and fell to her knees.
“Wha, what’s wrong?!”
“Uuuu…Grand Sharks…uaaaah!”
Kuufa subconsciously hugged the girl, but didn’t know what else to do. The girl calmed down a little, but her frightened appearance did not subside.
Roma approached Kuufa and asked in a worried tone, “What’s wrong with her?”
“I don’t know…”
“Grand Sharks… Kuufa-chan, don’t tell me. They were this girl’s…”
“I don’t know! She didn’t tell me anything!”
Kuufa answered in a loud voice, but Roma didn’t blame her, knowing the current situation.
“I thought I could take care of her…”
“Kuufa-san, please pull yourself together. Don’t worry about it all by yourself.”
“But I don’t know what to do…”
“I told you before. We’re here for you.”
Litty held Kuufa’s hand. Litty was trying to help Kuufa, just as she had done when Kuufa had problems with the demon.
Kuufa felt warmth during that time. It was the same even now.
“I’m so hopeless….. I still can’t do anything on my own…”
“Kuufa-san, you need to keep your cool if you want to take care of this girl.”
Litty’s urge finally made Kuufa regain her wits. After calming down a bit, Kuufa tried to comfort the girl by caressing her head.
Seeing that the situation was under control again, De Mile made a suggestion, “You should stay the night. Tomorrow, we’ll know a lot more.”
De Mile mansion was certainly not an easy place to attack. It was one of the safest places in the capital.
No one disagreed with De Mile’s suggestion.
Inwardly, Litty did wonder if she should join the hunt if requested. Defeating a party of Rank 2 adventurers suspected of murder was not an adventure she had in mind, but it would be a rare experience.
