A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 81.3
After cluelessly looking at the sky for some time, Kuufa noticed that something was moving in the darkness. If she had not happened to set her eyes on that area, she would not have noticed it at all. It was that hard to tell.
It was dim, but it sure looked like a shark. And it seemed to be heading outside the royal capital.
At this point, it was almost certain that it was related to Grand Sharks.
Kuufa, not to be outdone, generated an Aqua Road and followed it.
“I knew it, it was heading out of the Royal Capital…!”
The curved, bridged Aqua Road took her over the capital wall in a high speed vaulting leap. Without taking her eyes off the target, Kuufa followed it out of the Royal Capital.
At some point, shark began to lose its altitude.
Kuufa cautiously continued to trail it. Thanks to the darkness, the opponent did not notice Kuufa.
“Phew…I guess it’s safe here. We have already come this far.”
The shark was not the only one in sight. A lone human being was attached to the shark‘s belly with his back to it. The man was relieved to be out of the Royal Capital.
Stroking the shark‘s fin with his hands, the man gradually started whistling as he landed on his feet, the hair on his head also resembled a shark’s fin.
“I heard it will be tough, but surprisingly, it wasn’t much of a security. Well, I guess it’s not too much to ask for this guy…”
The thing the man called “this guy” was shark. It was no ordinary shark as it was flying in the sky.
The man was wearing a black suit of some kind, blending in with the darkness of the night.
Kuufa approached him silently. She considered a surprise attack, but even in the unlikely event that she was mistaken for someone else, it would be a problem. Such a risk was almost impossible under the circumstances, but Kuufa was not prepared to make that decision. Insufficient experience and lack of judgment. A variety of issues were involved.
“Grand Shark?”
The man’s body trembled, as if Kuufa’s voice had startled him. He did not move slightly with an astonished expression on his face. However, when he realized that it was a girl, he finally relaxed.
“What? Could it be… a pursuer?”
“A ground shark member, right…?”
“Well, this is a very pretty one who got here.”
The man whistled in a rhythm. The shark circled around and then showed its fangs to Kuufa.
“I wondered what I would do if it was a Knight’s Order… Girl, you don’t mean to tell me you’re an adventurer? You seem to be low in rank.”
“Well, I’m Rank 3.”
“Really…. Hahahahaha! The Adventurer’s Guild is getting desperate. A child like this is Rank 3…?”
The man gritted his teeth in hatred, and it was not because he was being tracked by a child like Kuufa. The man’s anger was elsewhere.
“So that’s how much Grand Shark Kobanza-sama has been looked down on. That would make Josu angry.”
“What happened to the other members?”
“You know what to do if you want to know, don’t you?”
Kobanza, the man, immediately put his back to the belly of the shark and flew to the sky.
At this point, Kuufa already got her answer.
“Let me show the strength of a Rank 2 adventurer.”
Kuufa’s concern was how to deal with aerial combat, which was her enemy’s specialty. Besides, there was no way Kuufa would not be intimidated by the words backed up by the abilities of a Rank 2 adventurer.
