A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 95.3
Litty did not understand Jester’s true intentions. He could not shake the vision of his father behind him.
If he really wanted to antagonize the adventurer’s guild, it should not have been necessary for him to help out the elite class altogether. So, regardless of what Jester said, Litty still could not believe his words.
“Jester-san, is that really what you want?”
“Yes, that’s right. I’m not like Badrick, I don’t make excuses. If you don’t approve of me, I’ll make you approve of me.”
“Is this really not for your father?”
“Father has nothing to do with it!”
Jester challenged Litty, wielding his Laser Sword.
However, fortunately for Litty, both of his arms were injured, so his movements were not as sharp as they should have been.
Furthermore, the continuous use of lightning consumed a lot of magic power and stressed his body.
No matter how high Jester’s magical power may be, it was not infinite. If he ran out of magic power, his chance to overwhelm Litty would be gone.
That was why Jester wanted to make a decisive move here.
Litty wanted to test something, so she took out a general use sword to accomplish it… and then…
“My sword…” (Litty)
“I’m not saying it’s a bad sword, but I don’t think it was strong enough to withstand the power of my Laser Sword.”
It turned out as Litty had expected. Because the sword she used to test her theory was now cut clean with its blade parting from its handle after clashing with the Laser Sword, showing the Laser Sword’s expected power.
What surprised Litty even more was the range of the laser sword.
The extended blade of the sword almost seriously wounded Litty.
“Jester-san!About that weapon!”
“Litty-chan!Do that later!”
Surrounded by the heated up crowd, the two became aware of their interest, with Litty wanting to know more about Jester as a strong competitor, and Jester who was curious about Litty’s general way of thinking.
They were lucky to have found such an adversary for each other. The two of them laughed as they realized this.
“I guess you’re all set to try and dodge my attacks!”
“I don’t think you can continue using that amazing movement magic continuously, can’t you!”
“I indeed can’t use it continuously, so what?!”
“You can’t? Really! Then, if you continue using that magic, your body will reach its limits!”
“It doesn’t matter! You can’t even do anything!”
Fighting each other because they wanted to win, and they expressed their aim without hesitation. It was true that they were likely about to end the match in a stalemate after their next clash. But Litty still had something in mind.
“There is still something I can do! Apache Lance!”
Abandoning a direct attack, Litty put aside her broken sword and prepared her next weapon. The next weapon she pulled out would likely be destroyed as well at the end of her attack.
Jester was expecting her to use a different approach, but he did not expect Litty to use something way outside his expectations.
She unleashed Josu’s skill, a skill that boasts the destructive power using a barrage of blows, which was different from Spiral Thrust. It could even be considered a superior version of it.
The stonework floor shattered under the attack’s pressure, showering Jester with debris. Fortunately, he managed to dodge the attack, but that left a huge gap.
“That, that’s bad…”
Because of the attack breaking his stance, there was no way for Jester to avoid Litty’s follow-up attack, a heel drop-kick as she used her spear as a pole vault to launch her straight at Jester.
The game was decided – that’s what everyone, including Jester, thought.
“Angel… Descend…”
Everyone had forgotten about Badrick’s presence. In the corner of their duel arena, Badrick interrupted the duel by suddenly using his summoning technique.
