A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 96.2
Litty stood there looking at the angel she had never seen before. She couldn’t even judge whether it was weak or strong.
Litty was unable to express in words how different in comparison they were to normal living creatures.
Right now, the right to life and death of every human being in the place was in her hands. For the first time in her life, Litty encountered such an extraordinary being.
“Oh, it’s me! Remember me?”
“What do you want?”
“Beat those two over there! Then I’ll finally be recognized by everyone!”
“Why?”
“Because I am your master, and I’ll be the one to use you to defeat them! Don’t embarrass me!”
“How much do you want me to beat them?”
“Hurt them! You can do it as much as you can without killing them!”
Badrick’s irritation to Zaiel’s nonchalant tone was evident.
Seeing Zaiel not moving as instructed, Litty instinctively sensed the danger. But the pain in her body had not gone away, and she knew that moving in this state would not help her turn things around.
“Does defeating a human child increase your worth?”
“It doesn’t matter! You signed a contract with me.”
Several bolts of lightning strike the mock battlefield. With this, all the spectators started running for the exit.
Pushing and shoving, the crowd was in a stampede that it was not surprising if some of them would end up injured.
“Get out of the way!”
“We’re going to get killed if we don’t escape!”
“Didn’t Master Badrick make a deal with that thing?!”
The lightning struck a few steps ahead of a girl. She was so frightened that she fell roughly on the ground.
Kuufa, with the power of Aquaria, enveloped her in water. Catching her out of the corner of her eye, Zaiel noticed Aquaria.
“Spirit. I didn’t expect you to follow a mortal.”
“That’s true.”
Kuufa was the first to sense this abnormality. That Aquaria did not reply with a dismissive remark. That alone was enough to determine that Zaire’s abilities may have surpassed Aquaria’s.
Her water was free of impurities and impervious to lightning. In theory alone, there was room to counter her, but she felt a difference between them that was beyond elemental compatibility alone.
This showed that there was no confidence or guarantee that Kuufa and Aquaria would be able to control the situation if things went out of control.
“Well, contractor. Thou hast planned to overpower the human child and gain fame. Is that the right thing to do?”
“Is it not right?”
“Canst thou not judge?”
“No, it’s right!”
“Well, shall we see if it was right or wrong.”
Lightning was about to strike over the King’s head as he fled. However, just before it struck, a man jumped out and dispelled the lightning with a swing of his weapon and landed heavily on the ground.
It was Grand Duke Redner who effortlessly wielded a weapon that looked like a giant naginata. Both hilts have exaggerated blades shining on them.
Zaiel, whose lightning had been put out, slowly shifted her gaze to Redner.
“Damned Angel. Why did you target the King?”
“I did not expect a human to cancel out my lightning…”
“Answer me.”
“It’s a known fact that my summoner Badrick has made a grave error. I also blame his parents for giving birth to such a human and failing to raise him properly.”
“Is that the penalty for breach of contract?”
“No…”
