A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 96.4
After Redner’s follow-up blow was once again blocked, Zaiel moved in front of Badrick.
It seemed like instantaneous movement, making Redner click his tongue in excitement.
“Even for a puny summoner like thee, that human was willing to protect thee. But right now, I do not see so much value in thee.”
“Ah, hiiii…!”
“Thou shalt recite the terms of our agreement.”
“To, to be a righteous man…”
“Thou hast failed. But for the sake of that human, I will only impose the penalty for breach of contract.”
Zaiel held her hand above Badrick’s head, then created a circle of lightning that manifested above his head. Even when it was simply floating in the air, it released a somewhat intimidating presence.
“What the heck is this?!”
“From now on thou shalt do only what is right. If not, the circle of judgment will come upon thee.”
“What the heck does that mean? What are you…”
The circle emitted a strong luminescence and clamped down on Badrick’s head. An electric shock ran through Badrick’s entire body, causing him to pose like a broken doll.
The royal clothes he had been dressed in were burned off in stunning detail, and he collapsed on his back, nearly naked.
“Ah…ah…”
“First, change your language. And hear what is right. Discipline yourself. The moment you try to break the circle of judgment, you will experience pain.”
“Help me, help me… No, I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to do this…”
“It doesn’t matter how much you whine.”
Neither Redner nor anyone else could do anything about the situation. Everyone knew that if they did anything, this time, Zaiel would start fighting again.
Redner would have challenged her to a rematch if not for the near hostage situation, but he also had another reason to give up in his pursuit.
After all, this was all Badrick’s doing. The school was at fault for letting him sign such a contract, and in that case, no one could blame the angel Zaiel.
Zaiel was summoned and only made a contract with Badrick on the basis of an agreement.
Furthermore, when the other party was a being who was also called God’s servant, it was only logical that the human side should be ashamed of their ignorance and recklessness in not following said contract.
“It was a good diversion for my boredom.”
Zaiel ascended to the heavens with a flap of her wings and then vanished. All that was left was awe at the tremendous being and the claw marks of destruction.
Tears streamed down Litty’s cheeks, but she had a big smile on her face, as if she had just witnessed a heavenly paradise in response to Redner’s battle with the angel.
“Amazing…! It’s amazing, Roma-san! Kuufa-san! If I could fight like that, my adventures would be more fun! Amazing, amazing!”
It was a simple comment that came from Litty’s limited vocabulary. Seeing that this girl was so excited to see such a thing, Roma once again learned the depths of curiosity possessed by the girl Litty. She was about to say that adventure was not entertainment, but retracted the remark, thinking it would be impolite.
