Litty Reviewing the Results

In the Headmaster’s office…

“Thank you very much for your help, and sorry for the trouble you ended up in…”

The headmaster bowed to Litty and the others. The academy festival was canceled and everyone except those involved was sent home from the academy.

The parents of the students were vigorously questioning the academy, and outside the gate, there was a lot of noise from the Knights guarding the academy.

The faculty members were worried about the damage to the Aristopia Academy brand.

Headmaster continued, “I had no idea that a student would actually dare to summon an angel. Apparently, we underestimated the prospects of things going wrong…”

One of the teachers said, “Yes, I imagine so. We are also ashamed of our inability to handle the situation properly, but we cannot help it since it was also our first time dealing with something like this. I’m just hoping that troublesome students like them won’t show up in our next academic year.”

Headmaster added, “I hope, but well, the rampage caused by the summoning of an angel was indeed….”

Without holding anything back, Roma clearly tore apart all their excuses, “They have been learning in this academy for many years, and they are also the top of the class. It was not like they just popped out of nowhere and caused trouble for everyone.”

However, Litty, having her own thoughts on the matter, stood straight up with a pout, and interjected, “But it’s not over yet. We can still improve the academy’s reputation.”

Headmaster replied in a hopeless tone, “No, it’s over. Now there is no way to regain lost reputation. And I was at fault…”

“We should never give up! We can always turn around the situation and improve reputation by doing good things”

“Litty, it’s already…”

“Don’t give up, Roma-san!”

Litty genuinely felt a sense of responsibility to help the academy cross this storm. She was inspired by the battle between Redner and Angel Zaiel in which Redner never gave up, so Litty’s motivation to help was higher than ever.

“Badrick-san in particular is a serious problem. What’s going to happen to that guy?”

“He’s done so much trouble. At worst, he’ll be executed.”

“Executed?”

He did endanger many people, and that included the royal family, so that punishment was to be expected. But Litty was busy thinking about what would have happened if Redner was not around to control the situation, ignoring the talk about execution.

“But you know… That man (Redner) is amazing.”

“I sure am, right?”

Without knocking, Redner entered the Headmaster’s office. After taking a quick glance at Litty’s blatant look of questioning as to what he was doing here, he walked over to the Headmaster.

Litty knew that she should be grateful to him. But for some reason, she couldn’t help but not say thank you.

“Headmaster, I have a report on Badrick’s treatment. We have decided to simply confine him in a prison cell.”

“Oh, and why is that?”

“Because we don’t know what effects the circle of judgment will have on him. We tried to remove it but ended up postponing it because of massive backlash from it. If we execute Badrick, there’s no telling what will be the result.”

“I see. That sure seems tough…”

Roma wasn’t the only one who wondered what would have happened if she had been the one who was hit by that lightning strike instead of Redner, while Litty on the other hand held her tongue out to Redner because she didn’t like his presence.

After being hit by Zaire’s lightning, Redner still managed to fight back. Was that due to his vitality or some skill?
