I'm Not the Young Lady's Dream Girl - [Vol. 1] Chapter 32
[Vol. 1] Chapter 32: A Long-Awaited Taste
Yinyue followed closely behind ?Daytime?. Unexpectedly, ?Daytime? could also become invisible through moonlight, which was a bit surprising for Yinyue.
However, it was convenient as there was no need to worry about ?Daytime? being discovered by others.
Guided by ?Daytime?, Yinyue ran out of the city and arrived at a waterfall.
“Is this why you brought me all the way out here, just to see a view?” Yinyue asked.
?Daytime? floated in the air, gesturing for Yinyue to continue following it, and Yinyue complied.
Under Yinyue’s gaze, ?Daytime? flew into the waterfall. Seeing this, Yinyue also jumped into the waterfall.
Once inside the waterfall, Yinyue looked around at the surroundings, surprised to find such a hidden place. There was also a strange mural, seemingly painted by some mischievous child with no sense of public decorum.
“Ouch!”
?Daytime? knocked Yinyue’s head with the hilt of its sword, as if urging Yinyue to look attentively. Yinyue crossed his arms, refusing to comply.
Suddenly, Yinyue realized that his energy was rapidly depleting, with ?Daytime? absorbing his energy.
“Stop, stop, can’t you see enough already?”
Yinyue shouted at ?Daytime?, fearing he would be drained completely if it continued.
After hearing Yinyue’s plea, ?Daytime? finally stopped.
What to do when the weapon rebels? Seeking assistance online.
Yinyue approached the mural, trying to squint and see clearly, as the images on the mural were quite blurry. Without careful observation, it was difficult to discern what they depicted.
In the first scene, there seemed to be nine stick figures, with eight of them bowing down to one stick figure below, as if revering the one on the throne.
Continuing to look down, Yinyue saw the stick figure above waving its hand, causing changes in the bodies of the eight stick figures below, as if granting them great power.
Then they left this place, each ruling over their own territory.
Many of the subsequent images were already unclear, and Yinyue could only vaguely make out one image.
It seemed like six stick figures were working together to kill one of the stick figures, with a black hand behind those six stick figures.
The subsequent images… Yinyue really couldn’t see clearly anymore. It was too blurry, and what a mess of random things! It gave Yinyue a headache.
?Daytime? shook in front of Yinyue again, then flew deeper into the cave. Yinyue immediately followed.
Inside, there was a dirty and messy room, covered in dust. It seemed like no one had been here for a long time, but it could still be cleaned up and used.
Without a word, Yinyue took out a broom. Don’t ask where the broom came from.
As a maid, it’s normal to have a broom handy, right?
Just as Yinyue was about to tidy up the room, an old knight’s armor on a shelf moved, catching Yinyue’s attention.
Yinyue already had a good idea of what was about to happen next. It seemed that before cleaning the room, something else needed to be cleared up.
Yinyue put away the broom, summoned the light sword, and prepared to face the enemy. ?Daytime? circled around Yinyue, seemingly asking why it wasn’t being used.
Yinyue grabbed ?Daytime? and put it away. Last time it was used, it nearly drained him dry. As long as there was no danger to life, Yinyue wouldn’t easily use ?Daytime?.
Yinyue assumed a defensive stance, ready to confront the enemy. At this moment, the knight’s armor descended from the shelf, grabbed the rusty sword at its waist, and similarly took up a defensive posture. The two sides stood facing each other.
The armored figure made the first move, swinging the sword towards Yinyue, who countered with swings of his light sword.
*Bang!*
The two swords clashed, and both sides continued to wield their swords, sparks flashing in the room.
Through the battle, Yinyue could confirm that the opponent’s swordsmanship surpassed hers, but in terms of overall strength, she was stronger. Moreover, that rusty sword was almost done for. Yinyue was confident she could defeat this knight’s armor.
In the intense duel, the knight’s rusty sword was quickly cut off, but he still did not give up. He clenched the broken sword in his hand and continued to attack Yinyue.
Yinyue decided not to continue engaging with it. She increased the power of her light sword and struck the knight’s armor down to the ground.
Despite lying on the ground, the knight’s armor refused to give up, constantly trying to stand up. Yinyue was surprised by its resilience, so out of respect, she decided to end it swiftly.
“Le… leave, leave quickly,” the armored figure uttered weakly.
Yinyue froze. Did this knight’s armor just speak? But why did it want me to leave? It felt like something bad was about to happen.
As Yinyue expected, the silver armor turned blood red, emitting boiling heat. It stood up from the ground, and the broken rusty sword transformed into a giant sword.
It was that familiar aura again, but different from the previous encounters. It must be the power of another deity. This was getting eerie.
“Fight, fight!”
The knight’s armor lifted the giant sword and smashed it towards Yinyue. Seeing the giant pit on the ground, Yinyue swallowed nervously. If she got hit, she might turn into minced meat.
With limited space and the risk of collapse, she had no choice but to lead it outside. Yinyue’s legs emitted a faint glow as she quickly ran out.
The knight’s armor followed suit, running after Yinyue. Looking back at the armor carrying such a huge sword and still running so fast, Yinyue was astonished. The knight’s armor ran like a ferocious beast.
Arriving outside the waterfall, Yinyue immediately transformed her light sword into a bow and arrow, aiming at the knight’s armor. Dozens of light arrows hit the target, but hitting the blood-red armor was like scraping a thick scab. This blood was too thick!
The knight’s armor let out a battle cry, swinging the giant sword wildly with no technique whatsoever.
Its fighting style now was completely different from before, relying solely on brute strength. Previously, it mainly relied on skill; even if it was not as strong as Yinyue, it could hold its own in battle. But now, it only relied on sheer power, swinging the giant sword haphazardly, trying to overpower any enemies with absolute strength.
Yinyue was very frustrated. She only wanted to find a place to spend the night!
“It seems like you need help!” a voice sounded from nearby.
Yinyue looked up and saw Miss Black Cat sitting on a tree.
“What are you doing here?” Yinyue asked.
“Just passing by,” Miss Black Cat replied as she jumped down from the tree.
Just passing by? Yinyue suspected she might have a tracker installed on her.
“Well, let’s talk later. Focus on dealing with the trouble at hand first,” Miss Black Cat said as she pulled out her pitch-black spear.
Yinyue thought it over; it was best to deal with the immediate trouble first. With Miss Black Cat’s help, the upcoming battle would be much easier.
Clearly, the knight’s armor didn’t want them to chat any longer and launched an attack.
Yinyue and Miss Black Cat leaped into the air, avoiding the giant sword which only hit the ground.
Miss Black Cat summoned her chains, pulling the giant sword towards her. The armor, now disarmed, seemed even more enraged.
In the heat of battle, the knight’s armor fought more fiercely. Even without its weapon, and despite Miss Black Cat punching a large hole in the armor, it seemed nothing could stop its thirst for battle.
Meanwhile, Yinyue was gradually feeling overwhelmed. This couldn’t go on. Once again, the ?Daytime? inside Yinyue’s body emerged, indicating for her to pick it up. After some thought, Yinyue realized that given the current situation, the best course of action was indeed to use ?Daytime?.
“Miss Black Cat, if I pass out later, please don’t leave me!” Yinyue shouted to Miss Black Cat.
Yinyue didn’t want to wake up inside the belly of some beast.
Miss Black Cat made an OK gesture to reassure Yinyue.
Yinyue grasped ?Daytime?, feeling her strength surging throughout her body once again. With a flash of silver light, a powerful sword energy struck the knight’s armor.
The armor, already devoid of reason, naturally didn’t evade, and braced itself against the attack. The armored figure, hit by the strike, ceased its movement, the heat dissipating from its body as red liquid flowed from the seams of the armor.
Finally, it was over. Yinyue held onto ?Daytime?, feeling a bit drained. Indeed, ?Daytime?’s power was formidable, but the consumption was outrageous.
At this moment, the knight’s armor stood up once again. Could it still move? Yinyue wanted to use ?Daytime? again, but was stopped by Miss Black Cat.
“Don’t worry, it no longer harbors hostility towards us.”
Yinyue indeed couldn’t sense any hostility and retracted ?Daytime?.
“Thank you both for your help, and I apologize for attacking you just now,” the knight’s armor spoke.
“So why were you here, and why did you transform into that form just now?” Miss Black Cat inquired.
“I cannot answer your questions because I cannot remember. All I know is that I was waiting for someone,” the knight’s armor slowly stood up.
“It’s getting late. How about the two of you come inside and chat?” the knight’s armor invited Yinyue and Miss Black Cat in.
Miss Black Cat helped Yinyue back into the room inside the cave, while the knight’s armor approached a partially destroyed statue. It reached out and touched the statue, and the entire room began to change. The previously dilapidated room became clean and tidy.
Yinyue looked curiously at the half statue, amazed by its functionality. It would be great if she had such ability herself. She would never have to fear getting dirty again. But… the half statue looked very familiar.
Suddenly, ?Daytime? emerged and resonated with the half statue. Yinyue’s body began to float, surrounded by gathering light, as if celebrating something.
Yinyue felt a bit overwhelmed by the situation. What was happening now? The half statue transformed into a half silver shield. Then, following ?Daytime?, it flew into Yinyue’s body.
Yinyue’s body slowly descended, and the knight’s armor prepared to catch her. However, someone beat him to it. Miss Black Cat caught Yinyue and then princess-carried her to the bed.
The knight’s armor recalled everything that had just happened, lost in thought.
Miss Black Cat lightly touched Yinyue’s face. At this moment, Yinyue’s eyes were closed, showing no reaction.
“Aren’t you going to say something?” Miss Black Cat asked the knight’s armor, who was lost in thought.
“…I can only tell you that she’s fine for now, but she won’t wake up for a short while. It’s late now, you can rest first. I’ll guard outside,” the knight’s armor replied, then walked away, leaving them alone in the bed.
Miss Black Cat didn’t say anything more. She removed her mask and pressed her face against Yinyue’s chest. Hugging her tightly, as if trying to capture every essence of her scent, and greedily inhaling her scent.
“Ah, my lovely Sister Yueyue is always making me worry. So, it’s okay if I demand a little reward from you, right?”
Yuluo felt her patience reaching its limit. She had been lonely for too long. The longing for her beloved had grown unbearable, with each passing moment only intensifying her yearning for her beloved.
As she glanced at the still figure of Yinyue, it felt like her heart was pulsing with a radiant yearning, each beat echoing in the silent room. Her breaths, warm and longing, whispered into the quiet air.
With Yinyue remaining unconscious for the time being, it meant that during this time, her actions would have no effect on Yinyue’s state of slumber.
“Then let me taste Sister Yueyue’s flavor that I’ve missed for so long,” Yuluo said while unbuttoned her clothes.
