I'm Not the Young Lady's Dream Girl - [Vol. 1] Chapter 47
[Vol. 1] Chapter 47: Being a Mom Myself
“Hey little kitten, where are you running off to? Let your big sister pet you a bit more.”
Yinya walked over, and Yeming, like a startled bird, immediately hid behind Yinyue in fright.
“Mom…*ahem*… Miss Yinya, although this little girl looks very cute, you shouldn’t react like this.”
Yinyue shielded the little girl behind her. Although she didn’t know what had happened, Yinyue didn’t want to see her stinky mother bullying the little girl behind her. It gave her a strange feeling.
“Do you know what this little kitten just called me? She called me ‘grandma,’ can you believe it? We must teach her a lesson.”
Yinyue didn’t expect the little girl behind her to call her mother “grandma.” With her mother’s temper, if it were someone else, she would have already swung a big hammer. It seemed that her mother really liked the little girl behind her.
“Miss Yinya, this child is obviously young and ignorant, please forgive her.”
“Mom, Yeming is not that young.”
A moment later, upon hearing this, Yinyue became even more excited.
Did she just say “Yeming”? It couldn’t be such a coincidence, could it?
Yinyue carefully observed Yeming. She had a pair of cat ears and a tail. At first, Yinyue thought they were accessories, but it turned out they were real.
And the eyes of the little girl in front of her, like Yeming’s, were heterochromatic. Plus, she just called her “mom”.
Yinyue already had the answer in her heart, but she couldn’t quite catch up. She had somehow become a mother without knowing when, and she had her own child.
Yeming wagged her tail and widened her eyes.
Did she say something wrong? Why was her mother reacting so excitedly?
“Um… are you alright?” Yinya reached out to touch Yinyue.
Wasn’t she perfectly fine just a few moments ago?
Why did she suddenly become like this?
“I… I’m fine,” Yinyue reassured.
Yinya couldn’t help but notice Yinyue’s demeanor. This was far from being alright. Instead, it clearly looked like something big had happened.
‘It was like being away from home and then coming back to find out you had a child. Of course, that should be impossible, it was too far-fetched. How could something like this really happen?’ Yinya thought to herself.
Yinyue took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. Since things had come to this, she might as well accept it with peace of mind. After all, having a lovely daughter, who wouldn’t be willing?
“Yeming, can I hug you for a moment?”
“Of course, Yeming also wants to hug Mommy tightly.”
In that moment, mother and daughter hugged each other in a warm embrace. As they embraced each other tightly, Yinyue felt a surge of emotions overwhelm her, realizing the indescribable joy of being a mother for the first time.
‘Wait, why am I a mom! I should be a dad, shouldn’t I?’ Yinyue suddenly realized.
“Yeming, you should call me Dad.”
“Why?”
“Because…”
Yinyue wanted to say she was a man, but Yinya was still nearby, and Yinyue felt embarrassed to say it.
“Because I’m the one on top.”
“But I remember Mom has always been the one pinned down by Dad.” Yeming spoke the truth.
Yinyue buried her face in her hands, overwhelmed with embarrassment. The realization hit her like a wave crashing against the shore.
So, every time she was pinned down by the young lady, Yeming was there, silently witnessing them.
On the side, Yinya was completely baffled.
What were they talking about? Why couldn’t she understand what they were saying? Was this the latest way young people talked? She really couldn’t keep up with the times.
Yinyue didn’t dwell on these matters anymore. Since Yeming already knew, let her know. As long as she didn’t spread it around.
“Yeming, besides you, does anyone else know about this?”
Yinyue asked Yeming, but immediately regretted it. She realized that sometimes it’s better not to know because the answer she got startled her.
“Well, let me think. Actually, everyone in the Shadow Guards knows, oh, and it was Sister Wei’er who told them.”
Yeming answered truthfully.
Yinyue kneeled down on the ground, unable to believe that all the formidable image she had built had been ruined. It was all because of Wei’er’s big mouth.
Yinyue inwardly muttered resentfully, ‘Just you wait. If I ever get out of here, I’ll make sure to put you through devil training once again.’
…………
Outside the ruins, Wei’er suddenly felt a chill, causing her to shiver involuntarily.
“Sister Wei’er, are you okay? Are you feeling unwell?” Nana asked beside her.
“I’m fine, just reminiscing about the devil training back then,” Weier said.
“You mean that time? Speaking of which, I met the silly Sister Wei’er during that time,” Nana said with some emotion.
“Wasn’t that a proud moment?” Weier said with a smile.
“Not at all, it was more like being cursed for eight lifetimes. Sister Wei’er always failed the missions, causing all of us to be punished collectively,” Nana said mercilessly.
Nana recalled that during the devil training, if one person failed the mission, the entire team would be punished. While Wei’er often failed to meet the requirements of the task, causing everyone to be punished collectively.
And the punishment was to complete a whole set of test papers, which was truly an unbearable punishment. Who came up with such a punishment was truly malicious, making Nana never want to touch test papers again in her life.
However, although Wei’er often got everyone punished, no one actually blamed her. Because she was very good to everyone in the team, sharing good things, telling interesting stories, and lending a hand when others needed help, even though most of the time she ended up making things worse.
When they first met, no one knew each other, and the atmosphere was very cold. It was Wei’er who stepped forward, warming up the atmosphere, and later on, there was even a sense of family.
For them, the orphans picked up by the young lady, that could indeed be called home. Although they had no blood ties and came from all corners of the world, there, they could laugh and rely on each other, without fearing hunger or cold.
For Nana, although the training at that time was tough, it was also filled with laughter and joy. Those memories were still worth cherishing in her memory, and all of this was thanks to the girl in front of her.
…………
On the ruins of the palace in the remnants, the figure of the silver-haired girl was gradually fading, evidently She could no longer continue the fight.
Although Dark Pupil’ current strength was nowhere near what it used to be, She was just a clone after all. It was impossible for Her to defeat Him. It was already impressive that She could hold on until now and weaken His power.
“You still couldn’t stop me in the end,” Dark Pupil said to the girl in front of Him.
Upon hearing this, the girl did not show any sadness, she just shook her head expressionlessly. This surprised Dark Pupil a little. Could She still have some other tricks up Her sleeve?
“Really? Then let’s wait and see what happens next,” the silver-haired girl said, opening her mouth.
“Are you suggesting there are others?”
The silver-haired girl didn’t answer. She closed her eyes. As a clone, Her mission here was already complete. Next, it was up to… Before She could think any further, She vanished from the ruins.
Watching the silver-haired girl disappear completely, He couldn’t help but laugh. Finally, the most troublesome person had been dealt with.
Although He were somewhat concerned about the last words the girl said before disappearing, He didn’t think mere mortals could handle Him. Even though His body was unstable now and had been weakened by the silver-haired girl, and even His core had suffered minor damage.
But who were They? They were gods.
Even with serious injuries, They were not something a group of weak ants could defeat.
Unless other gods also descended upon this world, He would remain invincible.
Dark Pupil felt very proud.
Because besides Himself, it was impossible for any other Gods to still exist in this world. If there were, He performed a handstand hair wash right there on the spot.
The immediate priority was to quickly find suitable offerings to help stabilize His body so He could gradually restore His original strength.
He remembered two particularly suitable girls. Now that the exit of the ruins was closed, they should still be within this space.
Releasing powerful psychic energy, He began to search for traces of Yinyue and the others within the ruins. Before long, He finally discovered their whereabouts outside the city.
“Finally found them, my lovely offerings.”
He transformed into a thick black mist and began to approach Yinyue and the others.
…………
At this moment, Yinyue was braiding Yeming’s hair.
Under Yinyue’s skillful hands, the braided hair was completed. It’s been a long time since she braided someone else’s hair, her technique seemed a bit rusty.
“Yeming, turn around, let Mom… I mean, let me see.”
“Okay, Mom.”
Yeming turned around, her hair now styled into loose lantern braids, giving her a carefree aura.
Yinyue looked at Yeming’s current appearance and couldn’t help but feel a surge of affection. Her daughter looked really adorable.
“Hey, now doesn’t seem to be the time for these things.”
Yinya chimed in from the side, admitting that she also felt a bit envious. She wished she had a daughter of her own!
“Achoo.”
“Mom, are you catching a cold?”
Yinyue also didn’t know what was going on, she suddenly felt the urge to sneeze.
Her stinky mom was right, now wasn’t the time for these things. The priority was to find a way out quickly, who knew when that god might suddenly appear.
At that moment, Yinyue suddenly noticed a large flock of crows flying towards them, followed by a thick, dark fog. This couldn’t be happening. Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
“Miss Yinya, please take them away. I’ll hold Him back.”
“Are you serious? With your strength, there’s no way you can defeat Him.”
“Don’t worry, I’m confident.”
Seeing Yinyue so determined, Yinya didn’t insist any further. She was injured now and couldn’t be of any help. Even if she recovered, she might not be able to help.
Yinyue remembered that He seemed to fear her attacks before.
Maybe her attacks would be effective against Him. It wasn’t a solution to stay here, she might as well take a gamble.
“I understand. Take care of yourself.”
Yinya took Yuluo and Yeming away. Though Yeming was reluctant to leave, she still obeyed Yinyue’s words.
Yinyue stood under the shade of a tree, waiting quietly for His arrival.
