Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival [WN] - Chapter 155.1
Settlement with Munza Group
“You little bastard!!!!”
Batir, his face stained black with anger, brought his axe down. I attacked the middle of the blade with my knife, and using it as a support point, I spiraled around my body and turned my evasive maneuver into an attack.
I aimed my elbow strike at Batir’s flank, who was standing right next to me.
Batir grunted and immediately kicked while he suddenly started to counterattack me.
I caught it with my right leg and then launched a palm strike at Batir’s jaw as I slid fluidly along the ground with my left leg, when my leg hovered slightly to release the force.
Stopping my sliding foot and moving in time with a single step, my palm strike struck Batir’s side as if gouging it out.
Batir’s upturned face twitched in shock, and he released a side cleave in agony, but I deflected it away and struck him in the heart with my elbow.
I did not know if my small blade would penetrate Batir’s strong muscles and reach his internal organs. So, I use a palm strike to directly send penetrating damage inside.
No longer ignoring the fact that he was even being injured, Batir simultaneously whacked me with the axes he held on both hands.
I swept my black dagger and black knife to the left and right, matching them with the axe to redirect it, and then I drove my knee into Batir’s nose.
Damage accumulated inside Batir. In just a few seconds of attack and defense, the fatigue that had built up in Batir, who had so much strength, was finally unleashed, making him only able to attack to the extent that he could parry my blades with his weapons.
But his eyes were not dead yet. I realized that Batir’s fighting spirit had not waned, even though he was losing his cool in anger. So, I readjusted my blade to cut him down even further.
“Both of you, that’s enough!”
An old man-like voice echoed through the desert, and before I knew it, a dozen new beastmen appeared in the corner of the battlefield.
Most of the beastmen were Rank 3 or lower, but the two beastmen on either side of the small old man in the center of the group showed almost 1000 fighting strength.
The wolf-like old man, whose eyes and mouth were covered with pure white fur, stared at me and shifted his gaze to Batir, who was breathing heavily with a scowl on his face.
“Batir…you have acted quite arbitrarily. If you were working on my request, it would have been fine, but killing her on your own would be troublesome. Leave the girl alone.”
“What are you talking about, Elder?”
“Zilgan’s men have their eyes on her first. That’s not the only reason, but he’s a nasty one to mess with.”
I watch them with my weapon at the ready.
The Elder of the beastmen? Zilgan was an old Rank 4 dwarf in the Adventurers’ Guild, I think? This old man… What did he know?
“I don’t give a damn! They killed my flock! I’m not going to let her live!”
“…Even if it means leaving the Munza Group?”
“…kuh, Of course!”
They would even give up their position for glory and pride.
A herd would be important to a beastman. Batir’s face changed color for a moment when he was told that he would be thrown out of the huge herd if he did anything more, but his pride won out, and he turned to me, his face somewhat radiant.
“…Use that ‘power’, little girl.”
Batir spat out as he readied his axe.
That power was the [Iron Rose]…
