My one eyebrow raised slightly at the mention of my “distinguished name” in a foreign land where I was not supposed to be known. The elder, perhaps convinced by my appearance, smiled slightly.

“I knew it, when Zilgan told me about you, I didn’t think it was possible, but… the ash-gray hair I saw just now confirmed it.”

The old man laughed amused, as the intimidation I exuded sent another round of killing intent from the surrounding beastmen.

“I am Kushim, the Elder of Munza Group West. I heard that Batir was trying to kidnap an adventurer that Zilgan had been eyeing. We came to stop him because we had no intention of doing business with the Hogloss Trading Company, let alone handing the girl over to Kirli… but it seems that the girl in question was an even more outrageous individual. The Ash-Crowned Princess.”

“Where did you hear that?”

“Hohoho, the underworld has its own gossip. How could the story of a madman who single-handedly destroyed a guild of assassins and was feared by the underworld not be a topic of conversation among the merchants?”

“I see.”

At that moment, as I quietly decided to “kill” him, an enormous amount of killing intent and intimidation was sent toward me from Kushim, causing the weak-willed beastmen to nearly lose consciousness and fall to their knees.

When one of the elders of the Munza Group, one of the four forces that control the town, made a proposal that made the guards interrupt him, Kushim glared at the young beastmen.

“Fools, can’t you see that she’s going to kill us? At her age, she is as deadly as I am. Think about the number of kills and the number of fights she had experienced to reach this point. Don’t tell me you don’t know what this means.”

At Kushim’s words, the eyes of the beastmen who were about to criticize me became slightly frightened. …No, it would be against Kushim that they were frightened.

As a last resort, I would definitely do so. Kushim understood it correctly, in terms of profit and loss.

“I understand, I accept the proposal.”

“Well, that’s a wrap. See you later, Young Lady.”

Kushim cut off Batir, not only discovering my true identity, but also avoiding hostility with me and at the same time using me as a pawn for the Hogloss Trading Company.

I didn’t know if they also knew about Elena, but as I watched Kushim and the others walk away, I became more wary of the Munza Group…or rather, the four organizations that run this town.
