A dragon. It existed before the history of mankind, and was the strongest creature in the world.

It was said to have a lifespan of thousands or tens of thousands of years, and according to one theory, as it ages, it grows more intelligent and eventually evolves into an immortal dragon, becoming a dragon god.

When a dragon ages and becomes an attribute dragon, it gains intelligence, the ability to fly, and powerful strength, but the fear of dragons known to man was not due to the attribute dragons, but to the “earth dragons,” which were juveniles of the dragon race.

As dragons acquired attributes, they gradually came to feed on magical elements itself. However, the earth dragons, which have not yet acquired attributes, feed on everything according to their instincts, especially those that live in groups and have little ability to leave, and those that have acquired a taste for humans, which possess a lot of magical power, were feared as man-eating dragons because they aggressively attacked human settlements due to their low intelligence.

The earth dragon appeared from the depths of the ancient ruins of Reiz Veil and let out a roar that shook the earth.

Screams or distressed gasps escaped from some of the adventurers.

The dragon’s roar makes the “weak” afraid. It was said to be a method of dragon selection, and it terrified the [unprepared] who were not qualified to stand in front of the dragon, regardless of rank or skill level.

The adventurers came here knowing the possibility of fighting a dragon. But while many of them were only able to shiver with their resolve, the younger ones, still in awe at the sight of it for the first time, were unable to bear it and began to panic and disrupt the battle lines.

“If anyone gets out of line, beat them back to their senses! If that doesn’t work, then kill them!!!!”

Immediately, Jesha raised her voice with a force that was as powerful as a dragon’s roar.

What would have been impossible for a normal organization to do was a matter of course in this land, where life is cheap, and the old adventurers who moved immediately to strike with a deadly force kept the damage to a minimum.

However, it was not only the humans who caused the panic. Demons who had forgotten themselves jumped over the disorganized battle line and attacked those who had been injured and were falling back, causing no small amount of damage to the wounded and to the magicians who were helping to heal them.

“Damn!”

Jesha thought while clucking her tongue grandly.

She had expected the Earth Dragon to appear, but she had not expected the front lines to collapse so quickly. What went wrong? Was it too late to treat the wounded who had retreated from the front lines? There were not enough magicians who could use light magic or enough high-grade potions, but there must have been quite a few lower-grade potions. Why then…?

“Zilgan! Give me the Dragon Horse! Let’s hit the ground running!”

Jesha, who had stopped thinking deeply in the midst of the battle, sought a way out of her fighting instincts and shouted for them to provide her with a means of transportation.

As a last resort when the earth dragon emerged, Jesha and Zilgan thought of taking matters into their own hands to defeat it. Even so, there was no way they could defeat it with just one or two Rank 4 people. Therefore, Jesha and the others had organized a death squad consisting of only the top ranks of Rank 4 and Rank 3, including Jesha and Zilgan.
