Chapter 131 – Operation Meteor

“Ah, uhm… I’m afraid the house currently in a mess right now. Also, Haruka is still asleep.”

“Well, that’s fine… and you are?”

The flashy woman named Matsurika closes in on Ria and stared right into her eyes.

“Ah, E-ehm.. I’m Ise Ria.”

Ria was flustered as she remembered her citizen rank.

If they found out that their son was dating a woman(man) who was a rank E citizen, there was a good chance that they would freak out.

Fortunately, the Talismans of the women weren’t active. If they were, Ria’s rank would’ve been exposed immediately.

“Are you Haruka’s girlfriend?”

“… I’m just a friend.”

Haruka would’ve gotten mad at Ria if he heard her denying their intimate relationship. But to avoid making things awkward, Ria decided to lie.

“That’s a lie. It’s you, right? You’re Haruka’s girlfriend. Yuzurika told me all about you.”

“!!”

Matsurika smirked as she continued on peering at Ria.

Ria’s jaw dropped, she was a loss for words.

“Please wait a little longer. I’ll finish cleaning up the house right away.”

“Ah, that’s fine. Go ahead.”

Ria turned on her heel as she hurriedly went back inside the house.

The front door automatically closed and locked itself.

Matsurika sat down on the porch and assumed a thinking pose.

“Hey, Sere..”

She looked up and called for the woman who was standing still silently.

“What?”

“Check out my Sere impression.”

Matsurika proceeded to strike a depressed pose, her head hung down in an exaggerated way.

“Oww!”

The woman named Sere silently kicked Matsurika in the shin.

“Haruka, there’s trouble! Your Okaa-sama came!”

[Really? I’ll be right out.]

Ria hurriedly came back inside the house and called for Haruka who was fooling around with Shinku in the bathroom.

Haruka didn’t seem surprised, the sound of the bathroom door opening reached Ria’s ears from the distance.

“Obi-kun’s Okaa-sama is here… W-what should I do…?”

Hearing that Haruka’s mother came, Reika squirmed as she placed her hands on her cheeks.

“Good morning, everyoneー”

“Ah, Yuzurika-san! Good morning. Sorry for the disturbance.”

Yuzurika rubbed her sleepy eyes as she came down from her room on the second floor.

Ria stared at Yuzurika, thinking that she had no choice but to rely on her.

“I forgot to mention that our Okaa-sans are coming today.”

Yuzurika beamed a smile at Ria.

Ria smiled wryly and furrowed her brows in return.

“So, who’s here right now?”

Yuzurika turned her eyes towards the bathroom.

The sound of Haruka and Shinku’s voices muffled by a hair dryer can be heard from the distance.

Since Ria has no reason to hide it, she decided to be honest.

“Haru and Shinku(?)-chan, huh? Well, I’ll go talk to our Okaa-sans for now.”

Yuzurika looks back as she strolled to the entrance.

“Also, there’s no need to be shy. You have nothing to be ashamed of.”

Yuzurika tries to reassure Ria, but she can’t help but feel guilty.

Ria was guilty of her citizen rank, as well as the state of Haruka’s relationship with women, which can be seen as sketchy from the outside.

The sound of the front door closing was heard.

Ria can hear the muffled voice of Yuzurika and the Mothers, but she couldn’t make out what they were saying.

For the next ten minutes, Ria and Reika waited for Haruka and Shinku as they listened to the lively conversation between a parent and child outside.

“Sorry for the wait, where’s our Okaa-sans?”

“Onee-sanSister-in-law is talking to them outside.” (Reika)

Haruka was wearing casual clothes while Shinku was in Haruka’s shirt and Miyako’s sweatpants as they hurriedly came to the living room.

The two didn’t have time to finish freshening up.

“I’ll be out in a bit.”

Haruka also went outside, leaving the three in the living room.

“I haven’t heard about Okaa-samaMother-in-law coming today.”

Shinku muttered bitterly.

She was a little unhappy that her sweet moment with Haruka in the bath was interrupted.

Shinku still had Haruka’s essence planted deep inside her. She didn’t have enough time to rinse them off.

In additon, Haruka and Shinku’s hair was still damp. Their appearance didn’t inspire confidence. Shinku was thinking that the current situation wasn’t ideal in meeting Haruka’s mother for the first time.

“I haven’t heard about it either.” (Ria)

Haruka was also in the dark. Yuzurika must’ve forgot to tell anyone about it.

The sound of the front door opening can be heard.

Four presence can be felt entering the house.

Haruka’s voice was heard from the doorway.

“Today’s no good. I’ll introduce you properly next time.”

“I’m just going to say hello. We’ll go home right after.”

Matsurika entered the living room.

She curiously stared at Ria, Reika, and Shinku in turn.

“Hello. Our bad for coming on such short notice.”
