A Girl Who Was Told "You Have No Talent" Turned Out To Be A Talented Monster - Chapter 96.1
Litty Witnessed the Descent of an Angel
“Ah, ahaha…don’t get all excited on your own…”
Badrick, who had been watching Litty and Jester’s duel with abandon, finally took action.
In the history of the academy, no one had ever succeeded in summoning an angel other than him. Nor had anyone ever made a contract with an angel, for that matter.
Living in the heavenly realm, they were said to be God’s servants, and most of them had a high sense of pride.
“Badrick…! What are you doing! You’re interrupting us!”
“Jester… You were so adamant about not using that summoning technique, weren’t you? Is it because you’re afraid of your father?”
“Father has nothing to do with it! It’s because I judged that the return is too small for the risk!”
“That’s right, your father wouldn’t allow you to use the summoning technique…. Even my father wouldn’t approve of this summoning technique…”
A shining circle of light reached the heavens. The clouds parted, and a blue sky peeked out. Soon a strong wind blew as the circle rotated.
“Kuh…! What are you doing summoning an angel!”
“It’s to prove myself. I am the one who deserves the throne. After all, I was chosen as the master of the angel that is about to emerge.”
“I was there when you first summoned him, do you really think you can fulfill a contract like that?”
“Angels, unlike demons, don’t try to take anything away from you…. I’ve grown up since then. I can fulfill it.”
“Jester-san! Are angels strong?”
As Jester thought about it, he could only picture Litty ending up with a body full of wounds. In his mind, Jester counted the people who might be able to compete with the angel present here.
First, his own father Redner would be the most likely candidate. Next in line would be the first prince, Olivan, and the second prince, Handel, but they have a role to play in protecting the King.
Worst of all, they were in a position to run away if things got out of hand, so he couldn’t get his hopes up.
“Even if all of us here challenge it, some of us will die. It might even end in total annihilation.”
“Then let’s ensure that those who can’t fight escape!”
“Worry about yourself! Since everyone is trying to escape, you should escape as well!”
“Then, Jester-san should escape as well!”
Meanwhile, Aquaria murmured to herself, “An Angel is it… I wonder if I can deal with it…?”
Jester who was looking at Aquaria also added her as a worthy opponent against an Angel in his mind. Almost everyone knew of the horror of that Angry Water Spirit from her legends.
Since it was a historical fact, he assumed that she would be the only force that could stand against an Angel.
“It’s too late to gawk…. You and your father, I’ll show you what I can do! Come out! Thunder Angel Zaiel!”
A blinding light illuminated the mock battlefield. Lightning bolts, as if to pierce the heavens, burst forth from the earth.
After a deafening thunder, those who were able to open their dazed eyes witnessed it.
Six pure white wings, three on each side, swayed. With her long golden hair fluttering, the angel also slowly opened her eyes.
“…O you who have made a covenant with me. What is your desire?”
Her voice was neither high nor low. Combined with her mild facial features, she could be mistaken for either gender.
